1) It's just a Baluchi's, nothing special. 2) When the delivery man arrived, he said I lived too far away, and that I shouldn't order from them anymore. This is despite the fact that they show up on Seamless as in my area. So, I will accommodate them by never ordering from Baluchi's again.

Really disappointing. The order took well over an hour to arrive and when it did it was cold. We have tried all of the Indian restaurants in this area and were looking forward to sampling a new one but it did not even compare. The food was very poor and having to pick the bones out of my chicken dish was very frustrating. We will not be ordering from here again - there are better Indian options near by.

Love it. A bit pricey but worth it. The quality is much better than other places in the area.

the delivery experience was fine i ordered cheese naan, poori, shrimp biryani, samosas & chicken tikka masala - the naan was not the cheese naan i ordered, and wasn't that great to begin with - poori, while it generally suffers in a delivery situation, was no good + samosas were pretty delicious + the chicken tikka masala was ok - while the biryani itself was very tasty, the shrimp were inedible not planning on giving this place another chance

Worst Delivery experience I've ever had. Called an hour and a half after I placed my order to check its status. I was assured the order would be there any minute Called back 15 minute later and was again assured it was on its way. A full two hours after I placed the order, the restaurant called and said there was a mix up and asked if I wanted to cancel my order. They gave no apology and said we get a lot of orders. We're allowed to make mistakes. Agreed but make it right with the customer. ZERO STARS!!!!!!

We got the chicken makhani, seek kebab, cheese naan, and poori. The food arrived fairly quickly and piping hot. All of the dishes were a bit one-dimensional, and seasoned a bit too lightly for my own preferences. Both Sapid and Curry Heights make their food with more interesting flavors. The quality of the meat used by Baluchi's is noticeable, though; significantly better than the quality from Curry Heights, and maybe slightly better than Sapid. The poori was ok; it's a bit lighter and thinner than Sapid's, but I prefer Sapid's for the flavor. In short, I feel the service from this place was very good, and they definitely serve good quality food, but I personally prefer the taste of Sapid. Based purely on flavor, it would have been 3 stars, but the freshness of their ingredients and the promptness of their service bumps my rating up to 4. They have half-price dine-in lunches so I will probably do that from time to time as I live quite close by. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: Well, so Sapid changed their delivery radius again and I guess they're not coming to my street anymore :( I tried more things from Baluchi's menu and am still fairly underwhelmed. I think Curry Heights may be my new default Indian place.

Simply the best Indian food in this area! Yes, it's a bit on the pricy side and a little more expensive than most of your run-of-the-mill curry joints. However, the food is totally worth the few extra bucks: it's fresh, well-prepared, and, most importantly, delicious! Take, for instance, the aloo paratha -- Baluchi's makes it so good that eating it is practically a spiritual moment. I kid you not! ;-)
