Boca Chica Restaurant

food came fast, it was hot, but I called to specifically ask for hot sauce for the most popular chicken item and the restaurant confirmed then didn't include it. The meal needs some sauce or it's just dry and not great.

Surprisingly excellent. The pork chops (Chuletas al Carbon) were thin moist and succulent but not greasy, pan seared to a light crisp perfection. Absolutely delicious. The tortillas were quite possibly the best I've ever had-being a Cali girl, I've had a lot. The rice and beans were nice too. There was one element that was a bit odd-not in a creative interesting way but odd. Could have been fried yucca-wierd but not menacing and very small. The coco yams were quite unique, but nice. They come pureed with a hint of coconut milk, essence whatever. Good to me( quite possibly not to everyone's liking). This place is great and I'm finicky to an extreme degree. I've been a member since Seamless opened and having tried most of these places will only order from-Il Bagatto regularly and sometimes Orchard Cafe for their french toast and the berry salad.

the ropa vieja and plaintain chips & dip are pretty good i'm glad they deliver, but it took over an hour to get my food

Delicious. Love the dip that comes with the plantains. Coconut shrimp was pretty good, however, absolutely overpriced as it comes with 4 pieces. Great food otherwise though, thank god for a good spanish/cuban place around here that delivers late.
