California Pizza Kitchen (60th St)

Delicious and disappointed both at the same time. I paid $12.25 for 2-steak tacos and there wasn't much steak in it. Are they that cheap to give you 3 tacos? They should mention it comes with 2 on their menu. Still hungry.

The food is always good but the last time I ordered from them their call center put down the wrong address (it was correct in the system) so the delivery guy was blaming me for his lateness and argued with me for a good 20 minutes. I even stated the address and he said yes, - NOT until the third time on the phone did he realize he was around the corner. He still came at me defensive before I even said anything. A simple sorry would have been sufficient - really bad service.

The portion size was wayyy to small for the price. The lettuce in the lettuce wraps, as well the lettuce in the my salad was sopping wet(like they had just washed it and never dried it) and of very poor quality. Every single ingredient used in the lettuce wraps as well my salad were disgusting, sometimes having to quess what it really was that I was eating or supposed to be eating for that matter. It was nasty! Very disappointing bc I used to love CPK when I was younger.

Pizza was very dry, bland, and overcooked. Soup was decent. Bang bang shrimp was very good. overall i was disappointed

Food is yummy, but as stated by others the delivery times are very slow (often in excess of an hour). Also, a while back they removed some of their menu from delivery on Seamless! I can no longer order my favorite pizza, the "goat cheese and roasted red pepper." It is still offered by CPK, but mysteriously removed as an option from Seamless, among others.

I'm giving CPK 3 stars. The food itself is great (4 stars). BUT the biggest problem with CPK is their delivery time. It usually takes 1.5 hours to get the food. Make sure to order way in advance of when you'd actually like to eat.

the wait time was 30 minutes longer than the restaurant stated. The food was not very hot (most seamless web restaurants do deliver hot food). I believe CPK is a newcomer so perhaps they were still working through the kinks.

Cranberry Walnut Chicken Sandwich. Super yum! However, I was not so dazzled by the cranberry focaccia bread that I didn't notice the chicken suffocating in herbed mayo was more of a chicken FINGER trying to valiantly span at least 2 out of the 4 corners of my sandwich. Tortilla cup of soup was more of a dollop or two of sludge in a small container. No big deal that is was lukewarm but it wasn't even half full. The delivery guy got tipped 3 bucks on a $23 check yet the crumpled, ratty bag that he gave me wasn't even closed. Apparently, I'm not the only one who loathes working on Sunday nights. What was I thinking ordering from a chain restaurant anyway? It's New York. Lesson learned.

Waited over an hour and my order never showed up even though CPK confirmed it. Called and spoke to the manager who explained that seamlessweb contacts CPK's call center who then sends the orders to the individual restaurants. Somewhere between the call center and the restaurant my order got lost. If you don't want to take the chance that your dinner may or may not arrive, don't order from here!
