Awful delivery. After an hour, I called to check the status only to learn their delivery guy was out sick and they faxed my order to another location but that location was overwhelmed with orders so they wouldn't deliver my food. Simply awful service

The chicken tikka masala was really great - it's the only reason why I am not giving 1 star. Delivery took forever, the order was incomplete and there was only 1 samosa - quite lousy given it costs $8 (at the time I was ordering). There are better places for Indian food in midtown!

I have ordered from Baluchi's before, and always had a great experience. Last night I ordered the dinner special... 1.5 hours and 3 calls to the restaurant later I still did not have my food. When I arrived I told them I was not paying for cold food, and to please take it back. Absurd.

Extremely annoyed with the delivery service. It took one hour and 45 minutes to get my order. I don't care how good your food is, that's late!

This particular Baluchi's was not great. The food came quite late. One dish was moldy. The curries were unusually greasy. To offer some perspective, I'm very forgiving with the Indian food within our delivery zone - so this was particularly disappointing.

I got an email saying my food would come in half an hour. After an hour my food had not come. I called. I was told they were "just boxing up my order." I told her I didn't want it and asked for a refund. She said "the delivery guy just left." that was forty minutes ago. Food is still not here. I called again and they said "the food is on its way." Fail.

I ordered the takeout special. It was alright - the chicken tikka masala was good, but not great. The chicken tikka appetizer was underwhelming - it felt a bit undercooked and had a pale color. They also forgot to include the green salad mentioned in the details. Oh, the worst was that they took an hour and 15 minutes to deliver, but keep in mind that it was Friday night. I may try them again on a regular day and see how it goes.
