Diwan Restaurant

Restaurant advertised 15 - 30 min delivery. Took 75 mins and food was cold. Called restaurant and they said too bad -- they were busy. Will never order from them again.

Very unexciting Indian. I ordered the Express Lunch #2 which consisted of three dried out, cold, overcooked pieces of chicken, rice and an unidentified "vegetable" side. No naan was included although it lists that it comes with the order.

The shrimp biryani had a total of FIVE shrimp--5 average-sized shrimp that weren't prepared with much care. Chewy and mildly flavored, especially considered I specifically asked for the highest spice level.

I ordered a lamb rogan josh boxed lunch. They called to say they didn't have lamb, and when I tried to cancel the order, they wouldn't and instead tried to get me to switch to a cheaper boxed lunch. Then miraculously they said they had lamb, and when I went to pick it up they person wouldn't answer my questions regarding my order. I think they ended up substituting goat instead. Used to be a good place, but service has gone down quite a bit.

will definitely never order here again. Ordered 3 items: malai kofta - extremely salty, lamb rogan josh - very salty but edible (barely), Samosa - extremely spicy. cant believe i wasted my money on this food. do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant. the chef really needs to taste the food before sending it out to customers. absolute garbage

Ordered "lemonade" got Sprit. Totally weak. Food is fine. More Spicy, than Mild like I requested, though. If you order food electronically, it should come EXACTLY as you've ordered it. Wont order from Bombay Bistro again.

Food is delicious and delivery came well within the alloted amount of time (15-30 min). We had a hankering for Mattar Panner (Peas and farmer's cheese - not officially on the menu) and called the restaurant and they told us that they would be happy to make it for us...overall EXCELLENT experience. Naan is DEElish.

Malai Kofta I ordered was watery and the gravy was not rich at all compared to yuva n other restaurants nearby.

Great food, one of the best in Midtown. Awesome eat in restaurant too. Great service, courteous staff. Very enjoyable experience.
