Hot & Crusty (2nd Ave)

The mexican wrap didn't come with salsa, included a bunch of inappropriate vegetables - carrots, eggplant, etc. It's disgusting. The French toast didn't even taste like there was egg on it and the egg sandwich, bread was soggy.

This was probably the WORST experience I've had on Seamless. * They were over an hour late. * They forgot to put sauce in my sandwich, driest panini I've EVER had. * Half of my iced coffee was dumped in the delivery bag. * When I told the delivery guy that it was really late, he said, eh and shrugged. * I emailed Seamless about this but it was ignored. I seriously want my money back. Ugh.

Do not order delivery from here. Their delivery estimate is completely inaccurate. I placed an order around 10:50 a.m. this morning and it is now 12:10 p.m. and I still have not received my food. I received a call about an hour ago from the restaurant saying it would be 15 minutes from the phone call. 45 minutes later and still no food. I called the restaurant to follow up and was told they are having problems with the delivery guy. As you can tell from the other reviews, this is an issue.

the worst. i dont write reviews for any restaurants but thought i must in this case. ordered at 10am.. came at 115pm after repeatedly telling me "oh just 20 mins more sorry" "oh its en route"... you ny'ers know the deal. to boot, the food is terrible. hot and crusty? - more like not & rusty.

Sandwiches are ALWAYS a ***** star rating herein my experience. I tried to venture outside the box tonight and ordered off their "Aldente Pasta" menu with a. Penne Alla Vodka with Chicken selection. It showed up an half hour after Seamless said and was an over stuffed aluminum dish of chickenless pasta soup. The pasta was so mushy you couldn't use a fork to eat it and while they nailed the color of the sauce it tasted like a garlic patch. Stick to sandwiches at this place or MOVE ON!

Gave me a 15-30 minute wait time for delivery and the 2 pieces of pie didn't show up for an hour and 10 minutes. Cheesecake was on a cake crust, not traditional graham cracker style. Disappointing after waiting so long.

I have placed two separate orders through Hot & Crusty and both times I had to wait a few minutes to receive the food even thought it was prepared and ready to go. The idea of seamless web was to create an easy and efficient process for a customer. There is a bottleneck in the seamless web process at Hot & Crusty that should be fixed.

H&C is good if you go to the store, but their delivery is terrible. We ordered a coffee, a cappuccino, and a toasted bagel with light cream cheese at 8:18. Estimated delivery was 15-30 minutes. Our order didn't arrive until 9:31, and that was after I called at 9:05 to check on the order. The man on the phone initially tried to tell me I was lying: "we don't have any outstanding orders. Everything has gone out." After insisting multiple times we hadn't received anything yet, he finally changed his story to "our delivery man is out with your order now." He did apologize towards the end of the call and said the delay was because they were busy. Understandable, which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. But the bagel wasn't toasted when it finally did arrive (a service for which they charge), and the coffee (though warm) spilled all over the bag. Sorry H&C, if you're going to offer delivery you should probably put a little more effort into it. I will not be ordering from here again, and will likely stop buying in-store because of this experience.

The breakfast wrap is great. The delivery took about 5 minutes more than the expected time. but that was ok. the food was still hot & delicious

The food is fine when they have it but most of the times we have tried to order from them, they call us and say they don't have something we ordered. We've stopped ordering from them as a result.
