Hummus Place (Broadway)

The food is excellent. The delivery was a nightmare. I ordered at 11am for a 12 noon delivery and after 3 phone calls received the food at 1pm. I was told there had been a question about my order and that my phone number had been incorrect in Seamless (but I checked my account and it is correct) and that they called my place of business to ask the question only to be told that "it would be o.k." - all the while not checking in with me. Delivery arrived without 2 entrees included and I needed to call to have that rectified. No notes, coupons or offer to credit the order (which they said was because I'd ordered through Seamless.) So, lesson learned - pick up!!

Though the delivery was pretty quick, I was very disappointed with my salad, which was overpriced for what it was, and was also missing the dressing.

Best hummus in nyc! This restaurant is not overpriced and is actually much cheaper than other hummus places around. The lunch special is a great deal.

I have never written a review before but I am so annoyed and starving that I just have to say something. I have been waiting for my food for an hour and 30 minutes and have been unable to get a hold of anyone at the "restaurant" because they will not pick up their food. You at least have to answer your phone! It's 9:15 and I am not even sure if the food is coming. I am very disappoined.

The food was tasty and fresh, we especially liked the hummus and the grape leaves. One thing to note: We requested an eco-friendly delivery, but napkins and utensils were included anyway.

The food is great, delivery is terrible. I've ordered here a few times and had to wait over an hour each time. If you're starving and want food quickly, this is not the place.

I love this restaurant, but ordering delivery from them is just unwise. The 30-45 minute delivery window turned into over an hour, and I was unable to reach the restaurant for some time to check on the status because the line was busy. I ordered hummus fava, which is usually delish but arrived room temperature along with pitas that had grown hard in the heating bag. I'd also called while I was placing the order to check what soup they had. I was in luck - butternut squash, my favorite. Sometime between the time I placed the order and the time they filled it, they ran out and sent a lukewarm order of the vegetable soup in its stead, which is fine but nothing I'd pay $5.50 for. Overall, a big disappointment.
