Puttanesca

I've ordered from Puttanesca for years: they've long been a reliable source of solid Italian food. Unfortunately, more recently they've been unable to deliver reasonably promptly: even easy orders now take more than an hour, and today I waited nearly two hours for chicken parm. I've called the manager repeatedly and he's assured me that this will change--but it hasn't. If you order from here, don't go anywhere: you'll be waiting for awhile.

I ordered the Rigatoni alla Siciliana and it was pretty bland and there was barely any eggplant. The sauce was pretty think and gloppy. I also ordered a side of meatballs and they were very small, but they did taste OK. The sauce that came with the meatballs was better then the Rigatoni. I would look somewhere else for takeout italian.

This restaurant is typically a reliable standby. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was disappointing. Ravioli with vodka sauce was ordered but arrived looking like a complete mess -- not one ravioli intact. Since the restaurant is only 1 block away, I'm not sure how this entree got so scrambled and can only assume the kitchen let it go out like that. Disappointing.

Naaah, nothing special. Tastes ordinary, tagliatelle has a strange taste and the piece of meat itself is not the best quality out there. I wouldnt order again

Although my lunch arrived fast, it was a sorry excuse for italian food. My chicken parm was burnt and the sauce was not very good. The dessert was decent but that's not enough to motivate me to order from them again.

Food is always fantastic! I usually go to the restaurant but their delivery service is very fast, food was hot, well packaged, and had included bread etc. Nice!

Why did the menu change? At least three of my faves, the antipasto misto changed (who wants marinated red peppers & zucchini with the meat and cheese?) and no more bavette or ravioli without the shrimp?

Mediocre italian. Prices have risen three times on the same few dishes ordered over the course of a two month period. Prices used to be understandable, now they simply are not on par wIth the quality of the dish. The staff has never been nice and so i bypassed that interaction by just ordering to my nearby apartment.

I had the fettuccine bolognese. So good! Different than normal, and great. Good portion size, and bread. Thoughtful delivery guy, yummyness all around. Just took off one star because I think it's a little pricey for what it is (but probably not for the area).
