Sicilia's Pizzeria

I remember getting pizza here years ago, and it was pretty good, so I figured I'd give them a shot when I was starving late at night and none of my favorites were open. I bought a bunch of food for the weekend so I could stay in and work on papers. I ended up tossing it all out that night b/c none of it was worthy of saving. --The spinach in the calzone was gross (unless you love frozen spinach) I tried picking it out but gave up because there was so much of it. --The tortellini didn't seem fully cooked and also tasted like it was frozen pasta that had been sitting at the back of a freezer for several months. --The chicken cutlet sandwich was edible, but it seemed smushed and the lettuce looked extremely unappetizing. (Chicken cutlet is one of my favorite kinds of subs, and this is the first time I considered just throwing one out.) I will eat just about anything, so I was really upset that I basically wasted $30 on this place and didn't even get one full meal out of it. Maybe it was just because it was at the end of the night, but seriously, I'm never ordering food from here again.

I've been enjoying Sicilia's since my college days. They make great deep dish pizza. Even though we don't live in their delivery radius anymore, we'll stop by when we're in the city for some greasy delicious pizza.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I ordered a Spinach and Mushroom calzone and they brought me something with green peppers and some kind of meat... I havent had meat in 14 years and I will never be ok with their careless oversight

Best Chicago style deep dish on Boston University's campus. I am from Chicago and I consider myself a critic. This is infinitely better than Uno's Chicago Grill. Just like home.
