Smyrna

I have a Turkish father and have been to turkey many times. This food was mediocre at best. It arrived late and cold when I ordered for delivery. I do have to say though the bulgar that is served instead of rice was very good and the cigar bereks were good as well. Perhaps it's a better experience if you go in person, but for delivery I would not order again.

The only thing more disappointing than the incredibly slow delivery (1 hour vs. estimated 20-30 min) was the poor quality of the food. My fault for straying from the always solid Istanbul Kebab House.

the menu is wrong. My entree came with bulgar wheat, not rice. I am alergic to gluten so couldn't eat the meal. They said they couldn't give a refund. so here is one star!

The food was really quite disappointing, especially given the steep price. The stuffed grape leaves were absolutely inedible; the stuffing felt like it wasn't even cooked. Sultan's Delight was merely average. The only gem was lentil soup, which was indeed quite good.

$15.00 for a small tomato and cucumber salad is too expensive- especially when it is not that tasty. The falafel was unlike any falafel I have ever had-don't know what was in it besides the chickpeas. THUMBS DOWN!

Mediocre. Rubbery texture to the meat yet fast delivery. I wonder why! PS - I got rated down for a negative review, i am guessing it's from some of the Smyrna staff, themselves! lol I am neutral if it was good, I would rate it highly, sorry!
