I really like their brisket and the fried brussels sprouts (when they have 'em), but everything else I've tried (creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, shrimp & cheese grits, blackeyed peas) has been mediocre. Sometimes they underestimate the delivery time as well but they usually throw in an order of fried pickles which is a nice gesture (though I don't eat 'em and feel a little guilty about the waste.) I still give them 3 stars because this is the best bbq brisket I've had on the UES so I keep coming back.

Just ok. Portions for price are disappointing. Texas Rotisserie is a far far far tastier and better priced option.

this is a rating simply for their poor delivery system. I have eaten their food before and it is generally decent to pretty good. I ordered an hour ago and it still has not come. I called the manager and she simply told me oops, no one put the order in and that it will be here in ten minutes. The people who work there are clearly not in a rush to do things, so if you want to order from this place you should order an hour or two in advance from when you want to have your meal.

Food is pretty good but the delivery is usually an adventure. Last time I ordered they said the printer jammed and my order didn't come in, so rather then re-ordering I told them to forget it. I was pretty annoyed, 5 minutes later my food arrived. I think they need a better system.

We placed an order with them and the delivery time stated 30 to 45 minutes. An hour and a half went by and we called to find out that it was going to take 15 more minutes. Which would have been almost 2 hours later. When we told them how disappointed we were as we were very good customers (dine in) The manager said that they were not willing to give any kind of adjustment or apology- we were told to call seamless web. We finally had to cancel our order and ended up having to call seamless web. This was at the Upper east side location on a Tuesday night)

I ate here once with a buddy, the food was ok, and I figured they were just having an off night. After tonights seamless order I will not be ordering or eating in this establishment again. The ribs were terribly overcooked, I cooked babyback ribs everyday for the last 3 years and whether they are domestic or import, there is certainly a way to impart incredible flavor, smoke, and still leave the product fall of the bone tender. The mac and cheese had no seasoning at all, a little salt would have been wonderful, the coleslaw is beyond dry, mayo or vinegar, neither are that expensive perhaps a little more of either would be a great improvement. I basically just threw $40 in the trash, and I'm still hungry.

Possibly the best authentic southern food I have had EVER. As good if not better than many places below the Mason Dixie line!

I ordered mac and cheese, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes (sans gravy), and cornbread. I was quoted a delivery time of about 30-45 minutes; the food arrived in about 35 minutes and was steaming hot when I took it out of the bag! Mac and cheese was thick and creamy. Mashed potatoes were decent but a little bland. Creamed spinach was good, and the cornbread was fabulous - the honey butter that comes with it is amazing. Portion size was about what I expected - each side came in one of those small, round plastic takeout containers with a lid. The cornbread was very good sized. Overall, this was a solid meal, and I'll definitely order again!

Not rating the food as it hasn't yet showed up. I had to call 30 minutes after placing my order since I got no confirmation. Girl on the phone claimed "fax machine was broken" and took my order on the phone - which took a solid 10 minutes. Now waiting for food to arrive - almost 40 minutes after placing original order. No beauno!
