I haven't found any Chinese restaurants in this area that are as good as Chinatown, but Tasty Tavern is close. Since I love Hong Kong style dim sum, I usually order appetizers and the Little Juicy Dumplings, Dim Sum (Sui Mai) and Fried/Steamed Dumplings are very good; the Sichuan Dumplings are a little lacking in flavor. It would be nice if they offered Shrimp Toast and Pork Buns, as well as sweet dim sum such as Coconut Balls, Turnip Cakes, Red Bean Paste Buns and Egg Custard Buns. However, I found the Pad Thai not as good as expected: noodles were dry, I prefer more vegetables with the shrimp and the dish was lacking Thai flavors such as fish sauce, coriander, lime and tamarind.
