food's mostly tasteless. the pasta was flavorless and mozzarellas tasted old like it's been sitting around for a while. the prices are high for the poor quality of food. will NOT order again.

With in 3 bites of eating the Pappdelle I had 3 sharp tiny bones in my mouth. Never ever again.

The mozzarella sticks tasted off and were not very good. The pizza was ok but arrived lukewarm and was extremely small. This place is way over priced and there are better options in the neighborhood.

Best italian food on the UES and especially for the price. Great atmosphere and wonderful owners. Love this place! Their pizza's are fantastic and the bucattini all' amatriciana is just like I had when I was in Rome!

I don't know why people have rated this place so highly. We may have just tried them on an off night, but boy was it off. The eggplant appetizer was tiny and had barely any sauce. It tasted good, but was worth about $3 not $8.50. The Ricotta dumplings sounded great but were nearly inedible. They were so bitter and doused in garlic. The chicken panini we ordered was the only saving grace and that was just mediocre at best. There are much better options.

Take it from someone who knows the upper east side cuisine very well, Toscanos, like Tre Otto on 97th and Madison, is hands down the best Italian food in the area. Best quality Italian food for at least 10 square blocks.
