Very fast delivery, and they're over 10 blocks away from me. If the estimated delivery is 30-45 minutes, I usually get my order in 20 or 25 minutes. Always fast and always hot. Typical chinese take out. 2 chinese places near my apartment advertise winning awards on GrubHub and Seamless for their General Tso's Chicken, U'Like Garden's is way better. I really don't understand how this place doesn't have a better rating. I moved up to UWS a few months ago, order from here every few weeks, and I've never been disappointed.

The food is good for the price. They NEVER read written instructions, such as when to deliver.

Pretty decent for cheap chinese takeout. One of the best cold noodles I've had (great texture, sauce doesn't taste like peanut butter). Fried rice isn't too greasy either.

U Like Garden has amazing seseme tofu! Though it's kind of expensive for fast food (10$ for a large container), the portion does last for 2 meals and it was delicious.

Perfect Chinese take-out for the morning after a night out. Cheap, filling and amazingly quick delivery. Love the Broccoli Chicken combination plate w/ pork egg roll.

general tsos chicken was disgusting. I don't know what kind of meat they used, but it wasn't chicken.

Don't listen to the haters! For the price, convenience, and promptness of delivery, I defy you to find better Asian food on the UUWS (that's Upper, Upper West Side. Represent!). Always delivered fresh, perfectly passable, nice people. Wish they offered green ordering, but I also wish I had three ponies. When I finally get those ponies, I will ride them to U Like for yummy shrimp and broccoli! PS: The spring rolls just got 10x better...they used to be hard and grody. No longer.

I never write reviews- ever- but this food was so bad I had to say something, if only to stop someone else from making the same mistake I did and ordering from here. The food took 45 minutes to get here (which for 2 simple dishes seemed a little excessive). The delivery guy didn't have my credit card slip to sign, so he made ME call the restaurant on MY cell phone so I could explain the issue and they could tell him I had definitely paid with my card. Finally, I dug into my food- if you can even call it that. The cold sesame noodles were not very sesame-ish. In fact, they were sitting in what seemed like a soy sauce based liquid, with hardly a hint of peanut or sesame flavor. The General Tso's chicken seemed to be sitting in exactly the same concoction! it didn't have that awesome, spicy gooey General Tso's sauce, but rather a liquidy brownish soy kind of thing. It kind of reminded me of how my mother used to water down the milk so it would last longer- like they added water and soy sauce to their sauces to get more dishes out of them. Gross! And the chicken itself was tough and overly breaded; I ate a few pieces but eventually decided I shouldn't trust it. After I had managed to eat what I could, I threw it all out, which is unheard of for me! I'm a huge fan of the next day chinese food leftovers! But in this case, the food wasn't worth the money, the calories or the space in my fridge. And I didn't even get a fortune cookie!

Tasty food and quick delivery. I was pleasantly surprised by this place, but I am so glad that I found it. It is the only place that I order Chinese takeout from. I also am partial to it due to the fact that it is the only Chinese restaurant that will deliver to me that actually has Crab Rangoon on the menu. The last time I ordered, they even sent a few extra pieces my way. Excellent sized portions and great value. Definitely worth trying them out.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The cold sesame noodles were good but the vegetable dumplings were green and not a green seen in nature either. They were like, kelly green. Weird...

The cashew chicken was rubber and tasted only of celery (!), and the steamed shrimp dumplings were full of some whitish/gray congealed matter, with a half-baby-shrimp slice tossed in. Truly revolting.
