Water Street Gourmet Deli

I try to eat healthy most mornings, but sometimes I need a breakfast pastry. Water Street always delivers: they're quick, and it's nice to be able to avoid one of the millions of chains that clog up the area.

Classic new york deli sandwiches served all day.,.including breakfast! A breathe of fresh air in a neighborhood overran by mass produced fast foods establishments.

Ordered Smoked Turkey with Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayonnaise and Oil & Vinegar. They charged me for the Tomato, but they never put the Tomato in the sandwich. They didn't call and say that they didn't have tomato. They still charged me for it.

Not only did they not call to tell me that they were out of an item, they substituted another menu item, just hoping that I'd be okay with that. DON'T order the caesar or grilled cheese--PUNY portions. This was really really disappointing. I have NO IDEA how they got such a good rating... something seems fishy to me.

Terrible! I waited over an hour and when I called to check the status, they told me they called me many times to tell me they didn't have 2 of the items I ordered, which wasn't true since i had my phone sitting on my lap. when the food finally came, some of the items were wrong and the rest was ice cold and inedible. For an area with so many quick places to eat, this one is worth avoiding.

I don't know HOW this place has 4 stars, probably one of the people work there 's full time job is signing up on here and rate it 5 stars. Last night my order was horrible, the turkey burger has the worst quality i ve ever tasted a turkey burger, the patty tasted liek its from more than 2 years in the freezer, the burger bun was so bad it was saggy with the sauce. The omelette and the sausage meat was so fake maybe 1000 times worse than mcdonalds, actually mcdonalds omelette and sausage patty is heaven comparing to theirs. Never will order from here again.

hands down the best place in fidi to order breakfast from, great sandwiches and pankakes, and their cold cuts sandwiches are also well made. We've never had anything delivered that wasnt exactly as we ordered, even with some tricky special instructions.
