Jake's Bar B Que Restaurant

I ordered from Jake's last week on a particularly crumby eat myself into a coma to forget about Law School finals kind of day. The ribs and wings were both awesome, in generous quantities, and the spinach and mac and cheese were great to boot. The only way I'd like this place more is if they delivered pints of ice cream. Even the delivery guy was friendly. Will definitely be ordering from Jake's fairly regularly.

1st time ordering frome Jake's and this will be my last time! Everything O ordered was burnt except the calamari, I didn't even know what it was when I opened it. This was the second day trying something new from Seamless menu and it was horrible! Let me in your kitchen and show you how to cook, I am surprised you are still open! 1 start was for the delivery guy

Solid Brooklyn BBQ! I moved to Bed Stuy 2 months ago. I've ordered from Jake's about 5 times. The food is high quality, and well cooked. It say's 60-70 mins for delivery, and yes it takes a while. So be patient.... and enjoy fighting over the last rib.

Ive ordered from here three times and its taken 1.5-3hrs each time. The food is decent but this restaurant has the worst customer service I've ever seen. Kept me waiting on the phone and didn't offer any solutions. Will never order from here again.

Since discovering Jake's BBQ I've ordered twice a week for a month. The main dishes are fantastic and the sides will blow your mind. Everything arrives fresh and hot. Delicious!

The food wasn't good, the fried chicken I ordered tasted off. But the service was even worse than the food! Not only does this restaurant have one of the highest minimum order amounts I've seen on Seamless, but also the longest delivery time (50-65 mins). I waited and waited for my food, finally after waiting over an hour and 20 minutes, I called the restaurant, they told me after a short hold that the food would be delivered within 15 minutes. Fast forward another 20 minutes and I finally receive a call from the delivery man, he confirmed my address and said he would arrive with my food "in a couple of minutes". I went down to my apartment lobby a few minutes later and actually had to WAIT for another 5 mins!!!! Upon receiving my food (almost 2 hours after I placed the order), I noticed that the food wasn't hot (lukewarm) and didn't come with utensils/napkins. ABSOLUTELY WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD ON SEAMLESS!! And I have only had positive experiences with Seamless until now.

Considering that they're delivering south of Prospect Park when they're located on the waterfront west of the Bergen St F stop, I have always been impressed. I'll grant that I have never had the chicken and I have never had the mac and cheese, but their pulled pork is always delicious and the brisket is always moist. I've been ordering from Jake's since 1999, and will never, ever stop. Also, get the candied nuts. They're expensive but extraordinary.

This was my first order from seamless, and maybe I just chose an off night at Jake's, but I was rather disappointed. The food was almost 30 minutes late, the onion rings a soggy mess, and the cold burger tasted tart. But like I said, maybe it was just an off night.

All I can say is wow. The macaroni n' cheese was a big, creamy, cheesy pile of deliciousness. Ordered a burger medium rare, and to my pleasant surprise got exactly that. The only thing I would caution patrons against is getting the mushrooms as an add-on for burgers; I was expecting something fried and sort of on the flat side, and instead I got chopped button mushrooms sautéed in butter. They were delicious and well cooked, but not a good shape for burger topping. I'm looking forward to trying out some of the other delicious looking things from Jake's menu.

Have ordered from Jake's a few times. The food is pretty great, however their delivery turnaround times have been consistently subpar. This evening, I didn't receive my food until 1 hr 40 min (!!!!) after I initially placed the order. I will definitely think twice before placing an order with Jake's again...

Coming from Texas I can assure you this is NOT the place to get BBQ. Menus are created like a Chinese restaurant. In fact, the BBQ sauce tastes like it has soy sauce in it. It almost feels like there is some Asian influence on this restaurant. If you're going to be a BBQ Restaurant, you have to NAIL the BBQ sauce and it is NOT good. Most of the food tastes like it came out of a can. I will NOT be ordering from this restaurant again.

We enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner from Jakes BBQ and ordered again. The tender beef brisket, potato pancakes and onion rings were excellent. My husband's a chef in Manhattan and he says that Jake's food belongs in Manhattan. But with our place downtown with the skyline views, easy transportation and some great restaurants like Jake's, we'll enjoy life right here. Can't ask for more! It's a five star place!

We waited over an hour to receive $30 of some of the most disappointing food I've ever purchased on seamless web. My pulled chicken sandwich had a soggy bun and dry chicken, and Jake's forgot to include the macaroni salad that came with the sandwich. My boyfriend's grilled chicken platter consisted of a large, dry piece of chicken, lackluster coleslaw, and cold grilled vegetables. The only highlight of the meal was the cornbread, but it wasn't exactly enough to be dinner. I will not be ordering from here again, and I recommend you don't, either.
