Lamb Joy platter with Vindaloo is amazing. Could be spicy for some, but definitely recommend it!

I used to rely on Joy Curry for fast, cheap Indian food but the delivery and service is unbearable at this point. Orders showing up an hour+ late, missing food items, lying on the phone that the order is "on the way". Steer clear of this place at all cost.

I have ordered the Chicken Tikka and Kabab Joy Platter 3 times and it is very good. It is hard to find Indian food where you can get a combo platter so for me it is a great value. The food is good; not spectacular. Overall, a good value.

I order here whenever I'm super hungry, because you can get SOOOO much food for $20. I can easily fit an entree, appetizer, naan, and dessert into my company's $20 allotment. As for the quality of the food, I've had better, but I think for the quantity alone, Joy Curry is worth the money. Plus, it's great if you're vegetarian!

good curry at a great price. I have been coming here for years. The chicken makhani (medium spice),tikka masala (not spicy), and vindaloo (very spicy) are great meat dishes. Chana masala, baigan bharta, daal, and aloo gobi are great veggie dishes. You get a lot of food for your money, and it's some of the tastiest food out there thanks to all the spices and curries. Whether you never eat indian food or you are a discerning indian connoisseur this is a good spot to check out.

I don't know what took me so long to try Joy Curry. I was a little tired with some of the other Indian choices on Seamless and there was no way I could leave the office. I briefly looked at Midtown Lunch to see if there were some Indian places I hadn't tried and saw that Joy Curry had positive (though not glowing) reviews. This place is an absolute gem. I have no idea why every single person in Midtown is not going here at least once a week. I ordered a variety of vegetarian dishes that my boyfriend and I will have for dinner tonight, and broke down and had one of their joy meat combinations for lunch. The chicken at Joy is hands-down the best I have had in any Indian restaurant outside of Queens. The sauces are very nicely balanced, the nan is perfection, both of their housemade chutneys are incredible and the rice is perfectly fluffy. I can't wait to break into the dals, okra and spinach tonight, as well as the chat. Delivery is wonderfully friendly (I'm glad I tipped in cash, because he deserved much more than Seamless allows you to add to your tip when paying online) and I look forward to many future orders. Thanks for making my Monday, Joy Curry and Seamless!

Decent steam-table style curry. A bit heavy on the oil and a bit light on the spice. Prices are very competitive. To-go containers are poorly designed. The various curries and sides end up all over each other and the bag. This is the norm for Joy Curry.

Love the food at Joy so we order lunch every few days. However, we are yet to see our order fulfilled correctly. There is always something missing in the order. We end up calling them to ask for the missing items, but by the time they are able to get these to us, either the food is too cold or we are done eating. The last time I ordered, they missed one nan and lychee juice. The time before that, all nans were missing and prior to that, one entree was missing. I would encourage the guys to review orders carefully before sending them out. However, if the right stuff does make it to you, you won't be disappointed!

I order lunch from Joy Curry a lot. The Non-Vegetarian Joy Platter (with Chicken Tika Masala and Palak Paneer) is a high-quality food and a great deal for $8.50. With tax and tip, it comes out to about $10. It's so good, in fact, that I just saved the meal as a SeamlessWeb favorite!

Having eaten chicken tikka masala in London--where the dish was created--I know that it does not need to be a bland, dry abomination. So does the chef at Joy Curry. Simply outstanding, spicy (without being overly hot) tender and luscious. About 90% as good as London, and eat a plate of this curry and you will remember it for 24 hours! Yum!

Never wrote a review before, but my experience was so horrible, I had to. I called them after an hour passed and I hadn't received my food, and they told me the delivery guy would be leaving in another 10 minutes. After an hour?! Why? They are 2 blocks away from my house. When I finally received my food, they had sent the wrong items, so I had to wait another 30 minutes before even eating. When I did, the chicken tikka masala was dry and the chana masala was just goop. Threw everything away. NEVER AGAIN.

the delivery man had the nerve to complain about a 10% tip! If he can't handle the distance, buy a bicycle. I don't care how good the food is, will not order again.

Boneless tandoori chicken boti was very good. I asked them to make it spicy for the likes of a South Asian and they did a good job. The whole wheat roti is better than the naan. The rice sucked. The vegies were nothing to write home to Karachi about. Veg Samosa was good. Good prices but lousy late delivery.
