DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM - We ordered the Joy Special Dinner. It came incomplete and inaccurate. We called to tell him and he said the missing items were not part of the order, even though we paid for them. He refused to refund the money and told us to complain to seamless. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

This is the best Indian food I've ever had. After living near 6th Street in Manhattan (Indian food row) for 20 years and eating at just about every restaurant there, not one ever approached the quality here. 5 years in Brooklyn searching for Indian and here it is. You could taste the fresh spinach in the Chana Saag. The Chicken Tikka was perfectly spiced. This is where it's at!

Joy has the best Indian food I've tried in NYC. Our favorites are the Poori Bahjee appetizer (comes with delicious fried bread), channa shaag, and chicken tikka masala. The green chutney and tamarind sauce that comes with the meal are also amazing.

Delicious Indian food. Most delicious I have found in the area, and a good value.

Ordered from here because it popped up in my search and I was intrigued by the chicken livers on the appetizer menu. This place is amazing. The food is delicious and not greasy like some Indian food can be.

We were so pleased with the quality, freshness and speed of the delivery. This is one of those undiscovered little places, I think. Rice was just right and the food wasnt overly greasy as it can sometimes be - very good indian food!

This is my go-to Indian place. The service is outstanding - the kind gentlemen who run the place are always sweet, and sometimes they even give me a free mango lassi when I pick up. The food is solid Indian fare. A standout is the Dumpak ("very special") - a sort of Indian Lamb pot pie. Definitely recommended.

We havd ordered from Joy several times now and really love it. The food is spicy, tasty and not nearly as oily as some of the other Indian resturants we've ordered from...

We were excited to try the food described in the menu. Placed our order online and delivery arrived in a timely fashion despite a wicked rainstorm. Two points for service. That's where the good news stops. The food was ill prepared. Whole chunks of cardamom laced several dishes as did stringy celery (a staple in Indian fare?). The bread was greasy, the papadum tasteless and the sauces just not quite right. The basmati rice was pretty good though also chock full of cardamom. We ended up throwing most of our dinner for two away. Bummer. The hunt for good Indian food continues.

I would recommend not ordering from this restaurant. An hour after I placed my order, I received a call saying they would not bring me my food and it was cancelled. Go elsewhere!
