Kiku Asian Bistro Japanese Sushi

Kiku usually serves very fresh sushi with good portion, however today I decided to splurge and ordered the supreme Omakase...it was so disappointing because they only give you 9 pieces of sushi for 35 bucks! They tried to explain it does have some nicer fish but really 9 pieces? Plus they forgot the wasabi and ginger...tsk tsk

I order from here a lot and it's really good. They used to have this beef dish with sweet potatoes that they aren't doing anymore so that's disappointing but I always have a great meal!

Second time its taken over an hour to deliver. Plus, the first time they forgot something. When I call and ask to cancel they say they can't do anything if I've ordered through seamless. Not worth the hassle.

Tempura was a bad order for delivery, especially when it took over an hour. Food arrived luke warm and soggy.

I ordered couple of times from Kiku on the phone before I did it on Seamless. i love having rolls or noodles for my lunch. Kiku's lunch special is definitely the best I can find in downtown Brooklyn. $10 for two rolls plus some edammame, shumai and soup was really a great deal! In a word, delicious!

As a seafood snob, I think four stars is a very good rating. Kiku is fresh, generous, and have a nice selection. Their vegetarian sushi is also excellent.

I've eaten in the restaurant and I've also ordered. Each time it was disappointing. Service was slow, rolls/rice was dry, and last night I couldn't even eat the 2 special rolls I ordered and wasted over $20. I do not recommend them.
