Kinara

I am Bangladeshi and feel that South Asian food in NY doesn't compare to London or the original cities. However, Kinara is above average for a neighborhood restaurant, even compared to Curry row and Curry hill in Manhattan. The Panir Bhujeree is really yummy.

I've tried couple of other Indian restaurants, but Kinara's the best!!! I love the Tikka Masala!!!!! but their service is not as good as their food, not nice...

Kinara is the best! Their food is consistently good, their delivery is consistently quick. I highly recommend Kinara- either delivery or eat-in.

Kinara stands out in the drove of indian restaurants by excelling at seasoning and managing to make their fried foods not too greasy. As a dedicated Chicken Tikka Masala orderer (medium spicy please) I can certainly say that theirs is amongst the more delicious. Tart and tangy sauce, tender chicken, good naan...what else do you need?

Mango Chutney! Kinara forgot to give me my extra mango chutney...how can you forget the extra mango chutney?!?! Also, the food quality was not so good. If you think Kinara is good Indian food, then you have some more learning to do.

This place is always top notch. Only problem I have ever had with them was a delivery guy complaining about his tip. I was gunna give him cash to pad it out but not after he whined about it. Sucks for that guy at least.

I've never gone wrong at this place. I've tried the Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka, Korma and a few other things. It's always delicious, and the delivery time is pretty good too.

Order came in less than 30 minutes--a welcome rarity in Seamlessland. Malai was still steaming hot and the mango lassi cool. Naan was less than stellar but hot, and overall the food was much better seasoned and fresh than other local Indian joints. Will def order again.

Sooo good, I will definitely order again. The spice was right on, I ordered medium as usual, but often I say medium and it's completely bland and then order hot and it blows my ears off, this was ACTUALLY medium! Also, I love raita and ordered an extra and it was a full container, not an itty bitty serving. Everything tasted really bright and fresh.

Always have a choice for ordering optionals but never deliver them (eg papad, red onion etc). wonder why they even have it on the website. Food is decent.

"Subpar" is the best word to use for this Indian restaurant. Even though we started off on a bad foot (they got my order wrong and had to redeliver the right thing—I thought the point of Seamless was that there would be no ambiguity since it's all written out!), but that wasn't enough for me to write them off. What was? Their chicken. Ech. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Main Meal, which is plain, boneless charbroiled chicken breast. Blech—just the most overcooked mess I have ever tasted. I could only eat bits and pieces of each cube—the outside would be cooked OK, but the more you nibbled, the more you discovered the tough-as-nails-yet-rubbery overcooked center. Don't do it unless you're desperate!

Such good Indian food both in and out of the restaurant. Perfect every time when I need my Indian food fix :) Their takeout special is where it's at! so much food!

Ordered the chicken korma and chicken vindaloo. Completely disappointed. The chicken in both dishes was EXTREMELY dry. The korma sauce was thin and not very flavorful. The vindaloo did not go down well. The samosas and the naan were perfectly good, but not enough to mask the bad entrees.
