I got the lunch special with the spider roll, yellow tail & scallion, and salmon roll. In the next 24 hours, I threw up 3 times. Since it was the only meal I had that day, I'm pretty sure Kitaro is to blame. Will not be ordering from here (or eating sushi) ever again.

Horrible experience here! They brought me the wrong order and when I called to tell them the woman told me I was wrong and that the menu on Seamless was incorrect. After refusing to rectify the issue she hung up on me. The worst part is that the roll that they delivered had an ingredient that I couldn't eat. Worst sushi experience I have ever had.

DISGUSTING!!!!!! The sushi was sliced too thin to even use chopsticks, and the fish was so sour I had to spit it out. I am nauseous and so frustrated that I spent so much money on food delivery and I couldn't even eat it. My fiance who eats EVERYTHING wouldn't even try it. Everything smelled sour.

This place is great. I was always leery of delivery sushi but from the first time I ordered here, the food has been fantastic - almost like I was sitting at the sushi bar. The rolls are fresh and undamaged when they arrive, the salads are great and even the soups are yummy (and unspilled in delivery). My only complaint is that the desserts are unremarkable. I'd love to see some more Japanese desserts, complete with red bean paste!

I don't know why Kitaro has such a low rating. Sushi has always been good (if not great) and the delivery is fast. You can't beat that, plus the price is good.

It is absurd that Kitaro only gets 3 stars. They have the best, most affordable sushi on the entire UWS. They NEVER screw up an order and the employees are incredibly courteous. How can you argue with free edamame when you order over $40? I got this delivered once a week for over 2 years and would never consider anything else.

Solid, quality order-in Sushi. I've ordered several times and have never gotten a disappointing meal. It's no Masa, but what do you expect delivered to your door? I'll continue to enjoy the food here for the foreseeable future!

I ordered the volcano & spicy tuna rolls. The volcano was sparse with the tempura taking up 50% of the roll and the spicy tuna was lacking in tuna and the spicy sauce was basically not even present on the roll.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I was told the order would be here within 25-40 minutes, it has been over one hour and when I called there is still no ETA on delivery. If you order, at least do not believe their delivery times. I will never order from them again.
