La Pizzeria

i've always been a pizza 33 fan, before trying La Pizzeria. This pizza is consistently the BEST in murray hill, and for a lot cheaper than many other places. Their house salad with their homemade dressing is absolutely amazing...I order from them at least twice a week. Fuck Pizza 33 and their long lines, ridiculously expensive pizza, and trendy crowd, order from la pizzeria, you won't regret it.

This used to be the best pizza in the neighborhood. It no longer is. Try Pizza Mercato or even the new Dominos before you order this stuff. Even if you request it well done it is received not quite cooked - which has resulted in less than pleasant after-effects. The calzones aren't so good either -- the salad, however, remains tasty so if you must, get a salad with grilled chicken. That works.

Meh. They were a little late on their delivery. The Meatball Parm sub was just OK. Maybe I'll give their pizza a shot one day.

Despite the attractive pricing, food tasted like it was from a deli. Dry and old feeling. Not very "Italian". Plus, they forgot the garlic knots from my order. I'd hate to find out how old that bread tasted!

Lousy ziti. Wrapped slice in foil so the cheese pulled off. Sauce wasn't that good on either. Pass and order somewhere better.

Ordered the pasta, salad and garlic bread. They threw in some free garlic knots. One of the only places in the area that serves good, old-school Italian for cheap! Will order from them again without a doubt when we want simple, well made food.
