I love Lenny's, but if you live within walking distance of the store I highly recommend walking to it. It takes FOREVER for a sandwich, and it's pretty BS they charge you a separate fee for ordering online.

Used to think that Lenny's was good, but don't know how these guys have a 5* overall review... Delivery time was listed as 15-30mins, then when I placed the order it got changed to 40-55 minutes. Came in 1 hr. (BTW, thanks for charging me $1.09 + tax as a delivery fee - which delivery guys DO NOT GET - and then making it 1/2 hr+ late!) Grilled onions on sandwich were not grilled but raw. Rather than following special instructions, or calling and saying they couldn't/wouldn't do it, they just ignored them.

I've ordered from Lenny's over a dozen times and have never been as disappointed as this last order. My sandwich was soggy and had extra ingredients that hadn't been listed in the description. They brought me the wrong drink, then when I called to ask for the correct drink the woman who took my order was extremely rude. She assured me they would send the correct drink but after waiting over and hour (they r only two blocks up), I called again to ask about the delivery. She said she would check where the delivery guy was and hung up. Needless to say I called back and asked that they refund the drink, no $3 doesn't make a diff but its the principal of the matter. If I wanted to go out to get food I wouldn't have paid a delivery fee and tip. I will not be ordering from Lenny's anytime soon, and if you expect your food to be prompt, and delicious I recommend you don't either.

Normally I love Lennys, but today our order was inedible. We waited a long time (60 minutes), which was expected since there was a long wait time, but the sandwiches came and were so soggy we could not even bring ourselves to eat them. Lennys is good if you are able to order it yourself... but the delivery process on the Upper East side is not worth your money and you will be disappointed.

I've been a huge fan of Lenny's in the past, but today dealt with the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered a sandwich and mochaccino this morning and when my coffee came wrapped in a plastic bag, delivered face down and with half of the cup's contents spilled within said bag.. I called just for a refund and was told I'd have another shipped instead. After an hour, I called back and was told by a different and undoubtedly rude worker that I was lying... And, in fact, had never called and spoke to anyone. Why would I make this up?! Sorry Lenny, time to check those employees and your phone records for that matter. I don't care if you offer the most delicious combo sandwiches on the UES.. With that kind of attitude flying around, in addition to poor packing skills, I can do better...

Lenny's isn't going to blow you away. But they will very rarely disappoint you. i usually make my own salad and it has never disappointed. the sandwiches are good, never great - usually "stock size". while it isn't pre-fabricated it sometimes feels like it. It's a good choice on the price / quality.matrix at its price-point.

Lenny's is my go-to place for sandwiches and a quick breakfast. Their food is always fresh and quickly delivered. I recommend their combo sandwiches- best value on the menu. I tend to stay away from the grilled food, though. Can get a little dry sometimes.

Lenny's is a staple for everyone at my office. The service is fast and the sandwiches are delicious. Lenny's is a better take-out place than an eat in place, and they have a ton of variety. They get very crowded after school during the week. If you are there before 11, the breakfast platters are cheap and plentiful. I only wish Lenny's served breakfast all day!

Lenny's is one of the only places on the UES to charge a delivery fee (at least places where I order). Annoying, and even more annoying is that they've now posted some sort of justification / complaint / whiney comment on their menu stating that it is an "administrative fee", presumably because their delivery staff is complaining that they're getting lower tips. I've got a tip for you Lenny's - instead of hiding a delivery fee to cover administrative costs that no one else seems to have, price your items properly to cover your costs. Your drivers will stop complaining, and your honesty might actually net more revenue, which would offset those pesky administrative costs.

Lenny's is/has and always will be mediocre at best. Also, while I don't mind places charging for an aluminum container for deliver I am not a fan that they charge a delivery fee and as a result, call me mean, I don't add a tip to the order.

The food is good but TWICE I have gotten hot coffee when I ordered iced coffee and the delivery guy refused to come up to my apartment, made me come downstairs to the door, then go back up to get a pen to sign the order because he didn't have one with him. Lenny's is lucky their sandwiches are good!

Every single order is somehow missing something. Food items and drinks are constantly missing from the orders. Today, I did a final test (because the food is not so bad): sure enough, one of the coffees was missing. That was supposed to be my breakfast. Never again.
