Seasame chicken surprise in white meat HOT and CRISPY - delivered in perfect form/ taste/ texture!! We usually get some indescribable mushy mess that is chicken and what was some form of coating! Shocking that Liberty View was able to deliver this item perfect! Thanks!

My husband and I used to love Liberty View - the cold sesame noodles were always delicious. Not sure what's happening but the food as of late has been awful. Last time we ordered I threw my entire dish out. So disappointing.

I would think it wouldn't be too hard for a Chinese restaurant to make General Tso's chicken, but in this case I would be wrong. If you don't fry the chicken long enough it isn't really the dish, it is just hot chunks of chicken in spicy sauce.

This restaurant is good for esp considering it is in BPC. Soup dumplings, appetizers and entrees are good -- some even Chinatown quality. A couple of feedback comments, wish that they did not cancel some classic Shanghainese items (like sauteed eel, eel noodles and bean sheets, soy marinated crab) and that they used real Shanghainese noodles (the thin type) for the soup noodles. The only bad dishes I've had here are the live crab and lobster -- guess very little people order it (due to high price) so the freshness was quite subpar.

Sesame chicken was the traditional battered, deep-fried dish, served with brocoli. Most delicious. Singapore mei fun consisted of rice vermicelli seasoned with curry powder, with chicken, shrimp, and vegetables, and was similarly excellent. Food arrived quickly and was hot and fresh. Will definitely order from Liberty View again.

I have ordered from here several times. The fried rice and lo mein dishes are so-so. However, the entrees, especially the general's chicken, are almost inedible. Would pass on this restaurant given the numerous other options in the area.

Don't expect your food to arrive based upon the lead time this restaurant advertises add an Hour, so if your hungry order from somewhere else

Best Chinese restaurant in the area that delivers. Good quality ingredients. Authentic. Not greasy. Only complaint? The listed delivery times are ALWAYS inaccurate. It's very frustrating to see them list 30 minutes for delivery but then have the order appear at your doorstep 60-90 minutes later. For those of us with kids, this can be a huge inconvenience.

I have ordered from Liberty View a couple times and have even eaten at the restaurant a couple times as it is close to where I work. Unfortunately, I ordered from there tonight with my wife. We were just commenting on the fact that the food was good when my wife found "something weird" in her soup. We both spent about 10 minutes apiece look at the "something weird" under a light before determining that it was some sort of pupae bug. I would let it pass and not comment on it negatively, but it has happened to me at other Chinese restaurants, and I'm now fed up with the nastiness. I cannot recommend this restaurant because I think their cleanliness may be questionable. Thanks

Hot & Sour soup - not very spicy, bland. Scallion pancakes - greasy, but good. Beef noodle soup - greasy bland Expensive for chinese delivery, not worth it.

I never write reviews, but needed to after last nights disappointing order: Chicken Quality -- CHEAP, did not even taste like chicken - even after the extra 2 bucks for "white meat only" terrible, just terrible... Dumplings - worst ever - the meat; pork, or whatever mystery meat, was too nasty to eat. And the dough was so thick and rubbery. Wonton soup - same problem, and broth was VERY SALTY and fishy tasting... Egg Roll - super greasy and unhealthy, poor quality too... I will not order again...

It's the only place I order Chinese from in the Financial District. The mushu and the buns are great! The dumplings can be a little mushy.
