Live Sushi Bistro

Live Sushi really screwed up. We placed a delivery order with them @ 7pm...at 7:45pm, we wondered where they were and placed a call just to make sure everything was OK. They said the food is on its way. at 8pm..still nothing, so we called again, and they say the delivery guy is out with the food. 8:30pm, still NOTHING. At this point, we're hungry and upset that it's been 1.5 hours since we placed the order. They provided no apologies or explanations for the delay...we finally had no choice and had to cancel our order (almost 2 HOURS since we placed the order). I understand that sometimes restaurants can get busy...we are not unreasonable, difficult people. But 2 HOURS ?! and again...they provided NO apology or let us know when we called the FIRST time that we would not be eating for 2 hours after we placed the order. We were regular patrons @ the restaurant and have ordered takeout/delivery regularly...we will never dine here or order take out/delivery ever again...NEVER. I would rather eat frozen pizza (actually, that is what we had to do because it was 9pm when we realized that is the only option we had).

Been a long time customers of Live Sushi Bar (they have two locations) The food is quite excellent and reasonably priced They also delivery pretty fast One minor criticism: the Crab Napoleon should use real crab and not fake crab (surimi)

They were out of one vitamin water, and made it up with extra dishes, very nice! I've ordered here a couple of times, and the sushi has always been great.

I've ordered from here twice. Quick delivery, piping hot food and it's pretty tasty too! Be warned that when you order the teriyaki it's ALOT of food...not a bad thing, I've yet to be able to finish it all :)

Love the food, really good rolls - viper is my favorite. Love the extra edamame that they include for free when you order a certain amount. This has been my go-to take out place.

Extremely tasty food. Tori with Udon noodles was spicy and flavorful, served with ingredients separate so that you can season to taste. Hamachi and maguro nigiri were both fresh, delicate and delicious. Wakame salad was light and not chewy like some places, but soft. I will order from this place again.

Ordered the Lunch Bento with 3 items, and a Chicken Ramen. Tori with Noodles (with Ramen noodles): Was good. Definitely had a nice variety of garnishes with it, and the broth was great. Beef Teriyaki: Was good. The teriyaki sauce wasn't too strong, but did overpower the beef a little. The beef was cooked really tender and well. Chicken Katsu: Was Excellent! The katsu sauce they use is amazing. It's the perfect balance of sweet, sour and spicy. The chicken was thinly breaded, so the flavor of the katsu and the chicken was the most prominent flavors. Avocado Roll: Was OK. The avocado to rice ratio was good, but the seaweed they used is very powerful. I couldn't really taste anything beyond the seaweed. Special Note: The delivery time was amazing. It was estimated 30-45 minutes, and I had it in 22. Will definitely buy again, in fact I'm going to right now!
