Was so pleasantly to find Luigi's on Seamless... We live in a part of Manhattan that has more Italian Restaurants than Bodegas and Halal Stands combined... You could probably even include Duane Reades... This is one of less than a handful that allow you to choose your favorite pasta type and even fewer that offer "Capellini... aka Angel Hair" with their sauces. Oh... The sauces are great... They let me tweak it according to my taste in general or just for that meal. My wife and I are astonished and thankful to have found Luigi's hiding in a corner here on seamless... To sum up... Since they made my green salad, exactly as I like (lettuce w/peeled cucumber... NOTHING ELSE), I will assume like EVERYTHING else on the menu... They'll make it your way... Also.. Don't skip the Garlic Bread. Lastly... They are FAST!!!

Last night my friends and I were getting ready to go out for NYE and wanted to have a good meal before heading out to a party. We decided to order delivery from our go to local Italian place. When the food arrived, two side orders of pasta were missing. It wasn't a huge deal, everyone makes mistakes, but when I called to inform Luigi's the man that answered the phone was extremely rude. He refused to believe me and then hung up the phone. Seriously?!?? I have nothing better to do then scam a restaurant for pasta? At that point I was livid, I called back and again expressed my dissatisfaction again, he yelled something in Italian and finally about 15 minutes later our pasta was delivered...cold of course... Needless to say Luigi's has now lost a handful of customers.

Had a craving for stuffed shells - for about a month - and found it at Luigi's. Now this isn't a 5 star restaurant, so wasn't expecting much - just a hearty lunch... received 4 large shells - and tasted real good, better than expected honestly. Also ordered garlic bread - expecting a small piece, received a hero and it was good - wasn't a generic spread - tasted like their very own concoction. Oh and the delivery was crazy fast - 15 minutes flat.

I ordered Shrimp Parmigiana. I had to call and ask if they had mistakenly sent me some kind of meat, as the "shrimp" was unrecognizable and had none of the distinctive taste of shrimp. After being screamed at rudely, I hung up. I don't eat meat, and would not have been able to eat this if it were not seafood, so it was important to know. Although I finally decided it was probably shrimp (I decided after asking for a coworker's opinion--she thought it was meat), it was absolutely awful. Tthe sauce tasted as though it had cheap ingredients and a lot of salt, no flavor at all. The rigatoni that came with it had the same awful sauce; it was definitely not traditional marinara. I thought it was supposed to come with a salad, and I had chosen a salad dressing, but apparently the pasta was another choice rather than part of the dish; this was confusing on the menu choices. Given the terrible food and the very rude person on the phone, I will never order from Luigi's again. Definitely don't recommend.

If you like dry pasta, Luigi's is the place for you; however if you want extra sauce, or sauce enough to cover the white pasta, this is not the place for you. I constantly request extra tomato sauce, but never receive it. Tonight I was told that since they sautee the pasta in the sauce, they cannot add extra sauce and will not sautee the pasta in extra sauce. Of course, you can always make your own pasta and stop ordering it from this place

Ordered the shrimp and chix pram tonight night. Very big portions but also very good food. Not too salty and a quality taste. Will make this place a staple and prices are unbeatable.

I;ve been ordering food from here for 6 months now. I love to cook and will pay top dollar for the best food. I love this place. The pizza is so good and I have never ordered anything that has not been made fresh. I love the mushroom cap appetizer, never had anything like it. Delivery guys are super fast and friendly.

The food was cooked and delivered quickly. Out of the items I ordered, the french fries were the best thing. The Alfredo sauce and the chicken had no taste or seasoning. Delivery staff was friendly.

Very large portions. Everything was delivered hot. Not the best Italian I've had, tasted a little more boxed than fresh. Will probably order again.

We really only order one thing here - the spaghetti bolognese, which is excellent (and the portion is quite large). We've tried a few other dishes that were fine, but nothing special.

Quick delivery, but food is totally tasteless and the eggplant in the parm was not yet ripe and undercooked. Very disappointing, won't order from here again.

Good food, good portion size, quick delivery. Sometimes give me the wrong food by accident, but always fix the mistake.

Great Italian food! FYI if you are placing a future order you may want to call and remind them.
