There are things about Maggie Brown that I like and then there are really troubling things. They use above average ingredients. A plus. The beef is really top-nothch and the burgers are great. Positive. Their delivery is super fast. On the troubling front is that I have had many not-so-fresh ingredients included in my meals. I have had fish that was pure ammonia -- cooked and delivered that way and although they refunded my money, the staff did not flinch in the least. They took the news in stride -- not one moment of surprise. This is worrisome. I guess in the end -- even ingredients that start out carefully chosen still get old, Sadly, they are still served.

Delivery was fast, received food under estimated time. Ordered the fish po' boy sandwich and it was disgusting. Bland and had a very fishy taste and they used cheap fish. Halfway through eating I just couldn't take the taste and threw the rest away. Needless to say, won't order that ever again. It was a waste of money($10)and I could have done a better job making that sandwich in my sleep. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!

We've ordered from here twice and both times the food came promptly, hot, and in containers that didn't leak bpa all over our meals. We've had the fried chicken, which was still crispy and delicious, with very good mash and collard greens. The brussel sprouts and mac n cheese sides are both solid. Very good skirt steak, fries are pretty good. Skip the biscuit and gravy. Maybe it's tasty in the restaurant, but I found it gummy and the gravy on the thin side. (I saw that a lot of people on yelp knocked maggie brown for lack of salt. I have a salt shaker to resolve this issue.)

Soooo glad Maggie Brown's is finally on Seamless. They have amazing fried chicken (lunch and dinner) and awesome burgers with superb toppings. Their mac and cheese is awesome too! Everything else is good, but they're my special treat place that I order from once every week or two, so I can't see ordering anything else.
