Ordered from here, they did not have the item I ordered so told me to contact them. I called the restaurants number but the person I got on the phone did not speak english at all so I had to call seamless to figure out what to do. It is now an hour later and I have to re-order from a different restaurant and wait another hour for food. Very annoying.

Delicious food and big portions! Lamb meatballs are SOOOOOO good! Only complaint is that I wish their delivery was faster but worth the wait.

Ordered meatballs and got the chicken, was cold when it arrived an hour and half later. Soup needed salt, hummus wasn't to my tastes. Maybe a fluke, but I don't think I'll be ordering again.

No, no, no! $20 for a wannabe lava cake (1 scoop of vanilla ice cream on a mini brownie) and a 1/2" layer of artichoke dip. Only highlight was the pita bread that came with the dip. Looks like you shouldn't order anything besides the meatballs.

the eggplant puree was totally gross! I love, love, love Turkish food and this was subpar. I'm moving out the neighborhood, and I definitely will not miss it! The Shepard's salad was edible, but it's usually delicious. How can you mess up a salad?! It was bad enough for me to write a review. I will not be back.

I almost never write reviews unless I had a really bad experience, but this is one of the only times I'm going out of my way to write a GOOD review. Bushwick suffers from a lack of "nice" delivery options. There are plenty of options, but its much of the same, mexican and middle eastern fast and cheap fair. If you're looking for a nicer alternative that still delivers, Mahzen is the spot! Even in the delivery containers the presentation of the food was beautiful. We got the grilled salmon and the meatballs and they were both fantastic as well as the zucchini pancakes which were delicious. While the food is middle-eastern inspired, don't be fool - this is not your average Gyro joint. On top of all that the delivery was quick and they got our order just right. 5 stars
