Mama Tina's Pizzeria

My kids love Mama Tina's pizza. Best NY style pizza in the neighborhood.

Last night I ordered a slice of sicilian, some garlic bread and buffalo chicken tenders. I was told it would be about 20-35 minute window. My food arrived in fifty minutes. The delivery guy was non-verbal, only communicating in a series of grunts. Even though he had brought my food in one of those pizza carriers meant to keep things warm, the pizza was cold and everything else was lukewarm. The pizza was decent, as was the garlic bread, but the chicken tenders were squishy and thin. I will not be ordering from Mama Tina's again.

If I could give a negative star rating I would. I have had 2 negative experiences with this place. The first was I ordered a cheeseburger and when it came it was cold on a soggy bun, I don't think they expected anyone to eat it. Then the second time I decided to try their pizza and wings since they are a Pizzeria these people did not deliver my food for 2 hours. When I called to ask why they said the delivery guy was out. Then the guy who I spoke to said I should cancel my order so I did and It took over 7 days for me to get a refund back. It should not be that difficult to get some food in Harlem

Mama Tina's food is just ok. Delivery is usually slow and food is cold by the time it arrives.

Mama Tina's may take longer than the 20-35 minutes to deliver your food, but it always gets to my door hot and delicious. The pasta dishes, italian specialties, sandwiches, and pizzas are all great. Love their food!

The food I ordered for lunch today was just OK. Unfortunately, my beef patties were overcooked and my cheese calzone came with no red sauce at all. Who does that?! Additionally, I received no utensils and had to cave man my lunch meal. Fortunately for me I have a closed office so I was able to devour like a primitive man in peace.

Ordered a large pizza, garlic knots and zeppolli's. Food arrived within stated time (30-45 minutes). Garlic knots where the highlight here, very tasty and soft. The pizza was meh. The mushrooms were canned, not fresh (and at $2.50 per topping, you would think it would be fresh), and there was not a large amount of cheese. The crust was ok. The zeppolli's were square, not the regular round, but the flavor was ok. The shape meant the the edges were overcooked slightly.

I was worried this would suck, or take a long time, but the guy came pretty quick, and the food was hot. The fettuccine Alfredo w/ chicken had chicken that was seared, and the sauce was a bit watery, but palatable. My hot wings came without sauce. pretty ok flavor-wise on the dishes. I got no fork and knife. The delivery guy neither read nor spoke no english, I had to pantomime soda to get him to give me my soda. you guys up your quality, and more people will buy from you.

I just waited 90 minutes to receive my order. To add insult to injury, my pizza arrived cold. The service SUCKS. This restaurant shouldn't even be on this network.

Order was supposed to take 30-45 minutes. Ended up taking one hour fifty minutes. Each time we called the guy on the phone said "he'll be there in a couple of minutes". A real joke.

Ordered pizza from them twice. Delivery was reasonable quick. The pizza was hot enough to eat but not as hot as I would have hoped. Biggest disappointment was that the pizza was bigger than the box on both occasions so they decided to bend the pizza smashing it on one side. I found that unacceptable and I hope this isn't the standard. Pizza is good, but I wish there was more toppings. I will improve rating if service improves :)

First order delivery was prompt since then, they've taken 20-30 minutes longer than the estimated delivery time on every order. The pizza was great. Other problems with orders... I had ordered a slice of chocolate cake. The delivery person showed up saying that they were out of chocolate cake and gave me a slice of cheesecake that I was also charged for. The restaurant should have either a) called ahead to see if I'd like cheesecake instead or b) not charged me for the item at all or c) send a substitution and discounted the bill.
