They ignore all written requests from Seamless Web!!!!! The guy at the restaurant told me that himself, you do not know what you are going to get.Do not order takeout from this diner!! I love the food here, and we live 2 blocks away, so we were frequent customers. The problem is, EVERY time( I stress this, every time!) you order takeout, they forget something, and I dont mean Ketchup and Salt. Last night they gave me just a slab of steak on white bread, and I ordered cheese, onions and tomato. When you call they argue with you, and they do not even try to fix the problem. Terrible customer service, and consistent takeout mistakes. Just lost a loyal customer>

I wish seamless web offered a rating of less than 1 star so I could give it the mansion. I literally live ACROSS THE STREET from this restaurant and they can't manage to send a delivery order that is somewhat warm to my apartment. Not only was this food undercooked AND completely cold by the time it made its way across the street to me BUT when I called to let them know about it, it was somehow my fault because the delivery person couldn't figure out how to properly ring the door bell to my apartment building. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT A SEMI-DECENT MEAL.

My boyfriend ordered a reuben and we were charged an additional $.75 for cheese. Doesn't a classic reuben come with cheese? I can live with the extra charge, but where they really went wrong was with my sandwich, the Tuscan Panini. What arrived at my door was dry, rubbery prosciutto and one thin slice of mozzarella cheese slapped on a white, untoasted hero. Confused, I called the restaurant thinking they sent me the wrong sandwich by accident, and was told that paninis are supposed to be served on heros. When I mentioned that it wasn't even toasted, he told me that I must be mistaken. With inaccurate food names and descriptions on their menu and poor customer service, needless to say I won't be ordering from Mansion again.

There isn't a better diner in NYC, and, honestly, there are few restaurants that serve better food.

The portions were quite generous, and they did give meet my request for a pickle with each order, which was lovely since they had no place to charge for such a thing, and I had written the request in the notes on the bottom. That being said, the burger was for a friend who had requested it be Medium, it arrived well done. I do realize that meat will continue to cook after being removed from the grill - however I feel that should be compensated for. It was still tasty, according to my friend. I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter that came with french fries and a greek salad. The salad was quite fresh, although I did not care for the almost mustard and vinegar type taste of the house dressing - this could be attributed to personal preference. My chicken was quite dry, which is difficult to overlook. The seasoning on the meat was lovely and the pita was grilled nicely - the addition of the tzatziki sauce was the redeeming factor to compensate for the arid texture of the chicken. The overall experience was acceptable, however nothing to write home about, hence the three stars.

Good neighborhood spot. If you're within walking distance just go inside and order a meal, don't bother with delivery.

Consistently above average, higher quality diner fare. Reliable and quick delivery. No troubles to speak of after numerous orders.

surprisingly good- great matzo ball soup like all the other reviews say- noodles and carrots and chicken (extra but worth it); was sick and hit the spot. interesting veggie burger- very different but will probably try something else next. But nice brioche bun for the burger and the best coleslaw I've ever had in NYC to date! They also use high quality condiments which I also appreciate. This place pays a lot of attention to the little things we actually care about and these things make a big difference; glad they work to distinguish themselves from the diners in the area. Will def order from here again.

Sloppy, inconsistant. I have ordered from here a least a few dozen times and I think today will be my last. They frequently forget key parts of your order (french toast, no syrup... Chicken Souvlaki, no Tzatziki). They are on the pricey side and yet knock you with container charges on everything - containers that are nothing more than the 2 cent aluminum cinch or laminated paper crap you get everywhere else for free. For these prices they should be taking a lot more pride into what they are doing/serving.
