Masala Times I love you, but you're bringing me down. Your food is still great, but two hours for a lunch special is no longer a lunch special... it's a lunch BETRAYAL. We've ordered from you every almost every Tuesday for almost a year now... originally you were my go-to because you were cheap, super spicy, had an awesome lunch special with the best daal around, and you delivered in like 15 minutes! It was like my Bollywood dreams come true. However your delivery time since has only gotten worse and worse... now I find myself waiting, at minimum, an hour if not an hour and a half for you to get the food out and walk the 5 minutes to my office. The food is 5 stars but the delivery is like negative one. We find ourselves straying with other- *GASP* - Indian restaurants because of the ridiculous wait. It's heart breaking! What happened, Masala Times? I weep nightly for the love we once shared...

Delivery time was supposed to be 30 - 45 minutes...that was 90 minutes ago and we are still waiting. wtf -- where's the food??????

I don't think I've noticed the delivery time. The food is always excellent and tastes fresh, well seasoned and lots of flavor. The one issue I had with my order being mixed up was fixed in a prompt manner. If you want good Indian food this is the place to order from.

The food is some of the best Indian I've ever tasted; the lamb chops are absolutely succulent and all dishes ordered have been far above par. Order at off times, though, as delivery times can be maddeningly slow. Worth the wait, though, if you have the time!

My order took about 1.5 hours when the delivery time said .5 - .75 hours. I can understand it when it is lunchtime, but this was later in the day. They didn't really seem to care and this is the second time I have had a problem with their delivery. Once, they delivered it to the wrong place, despite the typed instructions to deliver it to a different place. I would only order from here if you don't care at all when you get your food.

I like the food, I think it's reasonably priced, but I almost always have had a problem with the delivery. It's too slow, or they call you up after an hour and say "Oh, we don't have that item." One time, they replaced an item they didn't have with another one of the same price without even telling me. Another time, they simply didn't show up at all. I keep hoping they've just had an off night, but they apparently have a lot of these.

Great food, but the delivery is always so slow. Have to call almost every time, at least an hour if not more every time, even during non-peak times. Worth it for the food, but keep that in mind.

I really like the food. I find it hard to find good indian in manhattan--this is good and a good price. I love the vinadaloo, but if you don't like REAL spice, you should not order. Delivery usually fast, but the guy on the phone can be TOTALLY CLUELESS. I had to hang up and use the web to order.

We ordered the lamb vindaloo box and it was INEDIBLY hot. My sister and I are people who love spicy food and realize vindaloo should be spicy, but this dish was hot enough to give you chemical burns. No joke. We could not eat the food and I suffered really badly from trying a bite. We aren't sure if the chef was drunk, playing a practical joke on us, or if our order got mixed up with something from Man vs Food ... but we'll NEVER EVER try this place again.

Great biryani, gross saag. It didn't taste (or look) at all like spinach? Oh well, rice it is from now on. Plus, super fast delivery, so I can't really complain.
