Maya Taqueria has become one of my go-to places on seamless. It's inexpensive, the food is always fresh, I've liked everything I've ordered (I've tried a lot of things, but veg tacos/super tacos and veg burritos are my staple ... plus the churros!!), and the delivery is super fast. I'm actually surprised that a number of people have had issues with delivery taking a long time—I've ordered probably 20+ times from two different neighborhoods and they almost always show up within 15-20 minutes—I don't think it's ever taken them more than 30 minutes to arrive with my food. I don't know if I'm just really close by or what, but I've definitely never had a bad delivery experience. Anyway, obviously Maya Taqueria isn't the same kind of five star place as Jean Georges, but for cheap, reliable, fresh and tasty takeout it gets my highest rating!

I would suggest you not order from Maya Taqueria for two reasons: 1) Your order will not reach you for at least an hour. How do I know this? Because, when I called to ask where my food was after 75 minutes, the harried person on the other end said, "I'm sorry, we only have one delivery boy, I don't know his cell phone number, and we also have no cashiers, and no one else to help." I politely suggested they rethink the size of their staff, though obviously that wouldn't make my food get there any sooner. As you can guess, when the food DID arrive around the hour-and-a-half mark, it was stone, stone, stone cold. And it got worse... 2) I ordered a chicken asada taco. The first bite was fine, nothing life-changing, but since I was starving at that point, it would have to do. The second bite, however, involved one of THE most disgusting lumps—an aggregate of bone, cartilage and meat the size of a small lime. Insult. To. Injury. Never again!

I had generally had decent experiences with Maya Taqueria, but recently everything's been very dry. For example, the last quesadilla I got had almost no salsa in it and the steak meat tasted like jerky. I hope it gets better again, but I feel like I can't keep waiting for that to happen.

I don't care for Maya Taqueria. Too salty for me and generally never happy with my burrito.

Maya Taqueria is unfortunately very inconsistent in their quality. Most recently they sent me burnt (read:black) nachos which was basically microwaved cheese on corn chips in a tin container (for $10 no less) when previously a very nice tin of super nachos with salsa, guac, and sour cream was a delightful treat. Before that, I chose right off the menu option for a combo platter, but was then called to let me know that what I ordered was not an option, so I recommended they update their menu here, which has not happened yet.

Maya Taqueria is yummy. I love the tacos- the shredded chicken one is really good and the chicken asada one with mole sauce is great. The guacamole is good, but the chips are a bit too greasy! The price is great too! So, far the burritos are so so. I would stick to tacos. Then you can order several and get to taste different things!

The folks at Maya Taqueria always deliver superfast. I usually stick to the Vegetable Burrito and the Nachos, and I've never been disappointed.

I really love the food at Maya Taqueria. I highly recommend the Vegetarian Burrito with sauteed spinach. My only complaint is their hours. For a little while they were offering breakfast, but were never open for breakfast. I've even had the same issue with lunch. They claim they open at 11:30, but good luck getting anyone on the phone before 12:30. They've lost out on my business a lot because of this.

I am a huge fan of Mexican food and have enjoyed quite a few really good places in the park slope area. Maya Taqueria is hands down the best Mexican I have ever had... and I got it delivered.

I've eaten from Maya dozens of times and am finally writing a review. Food is fantasic. I love their chips and any type of burrito I've gotten (chicken, steak, and especially the fish) has been great. With reasonable prices, this place has saved me from having to cook dinner on numerous nights.

Although it is not the savory mexican we also enjoy, Maya always delivers fresh, flavorful, and delicious meals. And, we love that they offer burritos in a bowl, brown rice and other customization. This is a staple for us!

Do not order from Maya if you like receiving the order you placed. We have ordered from them 4 times.. two direct orders with the restaurant and two times from Seamless Web and each time they have left off an item we ordered and paid for or messed up the order (i.e. forgetting guac in the burrito) twice they have left off one of two drinks and once they sent chips and guac instead of a quesadilla. We should have stopped ordering after the first screw up but wanted to support a new local business and the food is pretty good although the black beans are terribly dry. After this last order the customer service was so poor that we have decided never to try again. Don't order from them. They mess up orders and do not react appropriately to their screw ups.

Quesadilla was AWFUL. Not sure what kind of cheese they use but it was horrid. Fajitas were okay but rice & beans on the side had no taste. Will not be ordering from here again.
