Melt Brooklyn

Our first three orders from Melt were delicious. The burger and grilled romaine salad were fast favorites, even though the fries lacked salt. The fourth order took two hours and forty five minutes to arrive. Almost THREE HOURS. I tried calling two hours into our wait, and the person who answered the phone said, "Oh, yah, the Seamless order. It's on it's way," without asking my order name or address- and it didn't arrive for another hour, so it clearly wasn't on its way. Or who knows, maybe it was, because when it finally arrived (at midnight), it was all cold, and the grilled pepper daily special appetizer was inedibly salty. It was really, really bad, served with a side of beyond-rude customer service. Stay away.

After 3 orders from Melt, I have to say we love this place. The grilled romaine salad and burger are both delicious, as are the brussel sprouts. Fries need salt and are just decent, but definitely one of our favorites overall.

I ordered a medium-rare burger and they delivered it burnt. For fifteen dollars I expect something edible. Awful.

90 minute wait for an order that was supposed to take 45 minutes. Two phone calls to the restaurant. Still no food. Really, pass.

Excellent food! Really yummy; good for when you want something a little more fancy. I had a craving for short ribs. I recommend them highly!

Too bad zero stars is not an option. DO NOT order the onion rings, unless you're ok with paying $5 for 10 onion rings. DO NOT order the lemonade unless you're ok with paying $5 for less than 6 ounces of lemonade. The beef sliders are bunless, which would be ok, I guess, if that was published anywhere on the menu. I wish I could post pictures of the food I received. Crappy places in Park Slope, trying to make overpaying for food seem chic for over three years. ZERO STARS.
