Mendy's at Rock Center

If I could give a zero I would. I ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup from this place. The soup arrives...but where is the chicken? Not a single piece of chicken. I call the restaurant. The answer, "the soup was made with chicken therefore it's a chicken noodle soup." The restaurant goes on to agree with me that the soup is a complete crap shoot - that I may or may not get chicken in it. Either way, I paid $5.50 for a bowl of water and a few pieces of floating starch that probably cost less than a few pennies. What a scam. Reputation travels fast if there is one lesson you will learn from this Mendy's.

It's nice that they have a Passover menu, but I ordered at 9:30am for 11:30 delivery, and I'm still waiting (1:40pm). Unacceptable!

There food is good (soup may be a little greasy) but don't EVER expect it to be delivered on time. Not even close! It says 15-30 minutes but is always an hour, and I only order a soup and sandwich!

The food is consistently fresh and well-presented. Delivery is the best of all the placed I've ordered from. And the few times there has been a problem with my order, management has been quick to correct it. Sure, it's not gourmet, but it isn't pretending to be. What it does, it does very well.

This sandwich was delicious. The service was speedy. I didn't even have to wait in in line. When I walked in the door I was asked my name and they handed me my bag. I was back to the office in a flash.

The food is actually good, but the portions are rediculously small and chintzy. I would prefer that they charge a dollar more and provide a sandwich that is of reasonable size.
