I rder from Metro Diner a lot and I always get great food that is still hot! They are also 24 hours so that's even better seeing as how I work 3rd shift. I totally recommend these guys if you're hungry NOW.

A simple greek salad and hamburger. Who can mess that up? Apparently the Metro Diner. https://www.seamless.com/Food-Delivery/orderhistory.m#

Wow, the reviews of Metro Diner are really polarizing! The cons: it is pretty slow (always), and so I always assume I'll need to reheat the food. But the pros: it's open pretty late for a diner in this neighborhood, the burgers are surprisingly great (and always cooked the way I ask), and it's inexpensive. Oh, and I can't remember them screwing up my order -- all in all, not bad. I wish their side salad were cheaper, but you can always get one of entrees, which comes with a lot of food. They are probably the best value.

Metro Diner is a reliable diner and in the scope of diner food, it's pretty good. But diner food never delivers all that well--burgers and fries get soggy no matter what you try!

I order the turkey meal from Metro Diner. It has turkey and cranberry sauce and stuffing and a side of your choice. It is truly delicious...I like more gravy, because I like to swamp my stuff in it.

I ordered for the first time on Seamless Web at the Metro Diner. I live right near it, and have gone into the restaurant many times to eat, and the food is always great. I also had never ordered in at the Metro Diner on the phone before, so this was a first. The service was horrible. Seamless Web said my order should arrive in 15-30 minutes. At 30 minutes I called Metro Diner and the guy just said "your order is already on its way" and hung up. 10 minutes later it arrives, and the sheet of paper I had to sign for my food was crumpled and greasy and gross. When I opened my food, it was lukewarm. I had ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a slice of cake. The cheeseburger and fries looked as if it had been sitting around for 20 minutes because it was all soggy. The cake had been thrown into a container that was too small, so it was smashed up! It was the worst food I had had from Metro Diner. I honestly think that the order had been made in time but either sat in the restaurant, or the delivery person took a detour to my apartment which is only one measly block from the diner!!!! Needless to say, I am skeptical about using Seamless Web now, I will never order in from Metro Diner, and I probably won't even dine in at Metro Diner anymore.

I ordered around 1pm on a Sunday, so maybe Metro Diner is just too busy to handle around then, but my delivery order was an absolute disaster. The quoted time for delivery was 15-30 minutes, but the food didn't arrive for about an hour. Despite my building having a functioning intercom system, I still had to go downstairs to get my food since the delivery boy made no attempt to actually use the intercom; he just called my cell phone. I ordered 2 Diet Cokes, a Coffee, Chicken Souvlaki, and a Metro Burger. To our surprise, the Diet Cokes were actually very flat Diet Pepsi fountain sodas, with a surprise slice of lemon, and mostly melted ice. The Coffee was only slightly warmer than the sodas (it was supposed to be a hot coffee) and it had spilled over most things in the delivery order. The Chicken Souvlaki was cold and the included fries were completely soggy. The only acceptable item was the Metro Burger. It was non-soggy and quite tasty. Overall, a mess. Would not order from again.

Terrible and overpriced. Metro has always been overpriced (I've been ordering from here for years and years), but it used to be really good so it was sort of worth it once in a while. The quality has gone down considerably and I will not order from them again. Huge disappointment.

I was REALLY craving a Diner style burger and fries, no frills. Deliver says 20-35 minutes and it took an hour to arrive. I called to check on the food and they were very rude to me, the food was warm when it got here, but was probably the greasiest soggiest burger and fries I've ever had, and the coleslaw didn't taste right either, I guess I should've paid closer attention to the other reviews.. All in all, if you want a stomach ache, order the burger and fries

Typical diner food, big portions and very fast service 24-hours. Can't beat it.

Sometimes very good, sometimes just OK. Also hit-and-miss on special requests -- sometimes they notice, other times they ignore it. I still order from Metro, but less often now.
