It's hit or miss with this place. I like that they allow you to sub tofu on the Sesame Chicken and General Tsos, and they do a great job with it, but unfortunately the order is frequently wrong. White rice instead of brown is the most common occurrence. Check your rice. And when you call, they just tell you that they'll make sure next time or bring some rice to your house. Makes no sense to me, because by the time I get my rice the rest of the food will be cold. Their vegetarian dumplings and spring rolls are the saving grace and the only reason why I continue to order from them despite their countless mistakes, but even those were cold last week. So -- with that -- I'm done with Michael and Pings.

I never feel compelled to write reviews but this was amazing. I don't think I'll ever order Chinese from anywhere else in the area ever again. It actually tasted healthy- but not flavorless-healthy...just not greasy at all, fresh, super delicious.

Terrific. I had pretty much stopeed getting CHinese food because of greasieness and heaviness. Blech. M & P was a refreshing change. We got the Pepper Steak and Chicken & Broccoli and both were awesome. My wife's wonton soup was a little bland. The scallion pancakes were weird (there's chicken in them?) but delicious. Will definitely order again.

This was probably the most bland and overpriced Chinese I've had in a while. Sorry ya'll, never again.

Excellent, fresh and healthy Chinese food. The pan-fried pork dumplings keep my "meat & potatoes" hubby happy while the hot and sour soup rocks my socks with its multitude of mushroom types, bamboo shoots and silky chunks of tofu. Love this place!

The first time I ordered here in August I was stoked to have found such a tasty and somewhat healthy chinese option. Which each subsequent order the food quality and flavor has become progressively worse. The last order, the food was so bland I decided that was my last time ordering here. Not sure what happened, but all I can say is bland, bland, bland and overpriced. Bummer.

I guess it's not so bad because it seems to be made with a more healthful perspective in mind, but this is not Chinese food. It's some weird bastardization of Chinese food. I had the hot and sour soup, pretty standard, and the flavoring was so off, unlike any hot and sour soup I've ever had. It tasted like sweet tomato. Disgusting. The mai fun was also pretty under developed and bland. Maybe more staple items like chicken and brocoli or General Tso's could be good here. I guess it's either this or the really gross and cheap places. Definitely the lesser of two evils.

Delivery was fast and the food is higher quality than that standard garbage Chinese food. I will absolutely be ordering from Michael & Ping's again!

Okay food- Rude service. I had the lemon grass chicken sandwich, the Bahn Mi, and some appetizers which were okay and still hot. What soured me most on Michael and Pings was the lip I got from the Delivery man, who was angry I didn't come to the door quick enough- He didn't see my bell and my phone went to voicemail- it couldn't have been more than 3 minutes. I had already tipped quite well via seamless, and was surprised to be treated with disrespect- I called but there was no manager on duty on a Saturday. Anyway, that's my last time ordering from them.

Really refreshingly good Chinese. I had the General Tso's with red rice and the pancakes. The food was light, high quality and fresh. My new go to takeout place in Park Slope.

The food was wonderful! This is the only good Chinese I have had in the Park Slope area so far. I had the Kung Pao Chicken and it wasn't as spicy as I would like it, but it was super flavorful. The only reason why it gets 3 stars is the delivery guy is terribly rude and will yell at customers who can't understand him when he frantically screams at them while he is trying to find their apartment. Ugh. Maybe I will just pick my next order up.
