Midtown Restaurant

My salad was fabulous! Huge Portion, Big enough for me to eat and bring home the rest to share with another family member. The chicken salad was great, all white meat and no fillers. Delivery was prompt. Will definately order from Midtown Restaurant again.

No matter what I'm in the mood for Midtown Restaurant is able to fill the order. Besides the regular menu, they have wonderful specials. On the light side, the salads are wonderful as is the chicken souvlaki. The spinach pie is filling and delicious. My son loves the ravioli, particularly with Alfredo sauce. And for a good old fashioned burger, this is the place to go.

The lasagna was freezer burned, dried out, and the dairy parts were spoiled. The éclair was dry and tasted of freezer burn. The restaurant was nice enough to send a replacement entrée, which I appreciated, but the chicken and sides were so gross - except the baked potato.

Midtown gets a 5 from me for consistent, fast service and hot edible food. I usually stick to eggs, soups, and salads from Midtown...the basics here are great, and when I don't know what else to order, this is my go-to spot.

Fast delivery but I would have prefered they actually cook my burger before it left the restaurant. I asked for "well done" and its almost raw meat and bled all over the sweet potato fries. No thank you.

The delivery man yelled at me for the $3 tip on a $12 order since he had to come from 55th and 3rd to Midtown West. I had no clue that the restaurant was so far away until he left. The restaurant should look into this since I personally don't pay attention to distance when ordering since I live in Manhattan. Regardless, the food was OK and the sauce leaked all over the bag. Not ordering from here again.

I've given this diner many chances, but with all the diners in this city, I have finally decided to move on. The food is just ok - but when I order diner food I'm not looking for a gourmet meal. But they rarely get my order right whether I order on seamless, in person, or over the phone - my Seamless order was just the last straw. I wanted a basic egg sandwich - bacon egg and cheese on a roll. There was no option to add bacon on the menu, so I ordered egg and cheese and put a note that I wanted them to please add bacon, and they could charge me the extra. They called and told me it would be another $1.25 COD in order to get my bacon. I agreed because I was starving, but one of the primary conveniences of ordering on Seamless is not needing to have cash on hand. Who wants to order a meal they think is paid for, and then have to dig for change in order to actually recieve it? Add that to the less than personable staff I've encountered on in-person visits, and it's definitely time to move on to another one of the other several diners in the area. So long, Midtown! It's been.....aggravating. :/

The Midtown salad is exceptional, as is the carrot cake a la mode. I reorder them a couple of times a week and they are consistently fantastic. I've had a generally good experience with every order.

I was expecting guests and ordered lots of junk food from that place. To my great surprise, the food actually was delicious. (Fish & chips were so so). We especially liked the pasta with vodka sauce. With an advance notice, the food was delivered on time even though my place is 40+ blocks away from the restaurant. It was barely warm, but i kind of expected it due to the coldest weather ever. Five mins in the oven nicely warmed everything up. I will order from this place again and recommend trying it out. You might get pleasantly surprised.

"Next time put a nice tip." Says the delivery man. There will be no next time. Soup container is open and they're all spilled. How many retards does it take to open up a restaurant? What a waste of money. Should have ordered elsewhere.

Waited over an hour and the food didn't show. I finally called them and they nastily told me that the delivery person had called my cell phone when he got here and that I didn't pick up so they left. WHAT? I live in a doorman building. There was no reason whatsoever to call my cell phone. I've had tons of deliveries through seamless and never had this problem. And then after getting here they left?!?! Moronic. The restaurant was extremely rude about it. They had no response to why they wouldn't just ring me with the doorman like a normal delivery, and they told me I would have to wait another hour for the food to come if I still wanted it. No thanks. It has been a month and I still have not been issued a refund.
