Mom's Pizza Restaurant

Terrible. Ordered meatloaf and mashed. It was one step above dog food. I actually had to throw it away.

I've eaten here a few times now. The delivery is pretty fast and I appreciate that you can order a 6 pack of soda for $5 instead of 1 can for $1+. The meatball sub was pretty good and I enjoyed it. I also had a cheeseburger which was just fine but nothing amazing. Today I got the potato skins and was disappointed to see that it has those fakeish 'bacon bits' instead of actual pieces of bacon and it's just a crappy looking dish because it's a piece of potato with cheddar and a few pink bacon bit flakes on it. It tastes fine, but not amazing. I would not order it again. I do also really like their pecan pie and chocolate cake, though both come in small pieces for the price. Overall the food is pretty good and the delivery is fast. I think it's overpriced generally and the food isn't anything special. But it's better than some other places that I've had in this area. (And I haven't tried the pizza.)

Mom's is a good place to have something different. With meatloaf and various pastas and even pizza it is easy to find something everyone will eat. The food tends to be good, though there does seem to be some days when it is just average. Maybe the B team is cooking that evening? Delivery is quick and you will get a lot for your money. Worth trying if you are looking for something beyond fried rice or a slice of pizza.

I'm a little mixed about this restaurant. I had a large pizza with sausage, olives, mushrooms and extra cheese. The flavor was great, the best tasting of the delivery pizzas I've found in the 8 years I've lived here. But boy did they skimp on the toppings. If all of the mushroom pieces were put together, it wouldn't make 2 whole mushrooms, very disappointing. But boy did it taste good.
