I ordered here because Motorino won a Crave award from Seamless. I should have looked at the reviews first, because this place is definitely NOT award-winning in my book. Motorino is a total rip-off. For a $16-dollar pizza, it barely feeds two, let alone three. The size of a $16 Margherita pizza is slightly bigger than a personal pizza, around 12 inches in diameter. The price is misleading. You would think you'd get your money's worth for the price that you're paying. I waited half an hour, which is not so bad. But the pizza's crust was blackened and burnt at the edges. Yuck. This isn't even the best pizza I've ever had. (Pizza Stop on Lenox Avenue, word up.) I also ordered a Mexican coke. It wasn't even cold... it was room temperature. So basically for a $20 pizza dinner for three, we're all still starving. Thanks for nothing Motorino. Definitely not ordering here again.

The negative reviews of this restaurant are extremely unfair. The pizza is a fine-dining experience. It is NOT the average pizza joint dollar a slice variety (not that there's anything wrong with that). If you order pizza from Motorino you will receive authentic, delicious, brick-oven pizza made with artisanal talent by a true chef. You can get good New York pizza just about anywhere in the City, but this is a cut above.

I've eaten at the restaurant before and gotten the Margherita pizza. I ordered the same thing for delivery and it was absolutely disgusting. A waste of $15 as I couldn't even finish one slice. The cheese tasted sour, the dough was under-cooked, and the sauce had absolutely no taste. Horrible. This restaurant's overall rating is completely inaccurate

Really disappointing! Got a pizza that was slightly burnt and cut into huge caveman pieces. It looked like the person who made this was in no mood to make pizza -- the prosciutto was big pieces and not even cut properly with the pizza... Needless to say I won't order here again.

I was shocked at how inedible the entire meal was. The salad was over-salted with huge pieces of rock salt and the pizza was wet and runny with solid chunks of cheese on top. For a place with such high reviews, I was beyond disappointed and will never order from Motorino again.

I've only ordered at non-prime hours, but this is the best delivery pizza I've had in NYC, and some of the best pizza period. Perfect crusts and great topping combos...the clam pie and the brussel sprout pie are both amazing.

Who doesn’t love pizza! I’m fortunate enough to have numerous (seamless) delivery options for exceptional pizza. And Motorino is, without question, one of the best! They specialize in Neapolitan-style pizza, and they do it right - super fresh ingredients and a crust that is a perfect combination of chewy goodness, crispiness and saltiness (totally reminiscent of Napoli). But, Motorino takes it to the next level with creative options that turn traditional Neopolitan pizza on its head. One such option on my regular order is the Brussels Sprouts Pizza, which also has delicious salty pancetta, heavenly fior de late cheese, garlic (my favorite) and olive oil. Brussels sprouts are definitely a polarizing ingredient; people either love or hate them. Believe it or not, I’ve always hated them. But, this pizza changed all of that in one ethereal salty, chewy (yet a little crisp) and slightly bitter (the bitterness of the brussels sprouts and slight char on the crust perfectly compliments the almost slightly garlicky-buttery deliciousness of the oil, garlic and fior de late). Motorino, and particularly this life-changing pie is worthy of an order at least weekly. Lastly, as a veteran seamless guy, I believe a review isn’t complete without some insight into the delivery situation. Motorino’s delivery is not bad – almost always within the delivery estimate. Although, not quite what it was during its early days on seamless (when you’d have an awesome somehow seemingly just-out-of-the-oven-pie at your door in 15-20 mins). Bon Appetite!
