Moustache (West Village)

Not what I was expecting. I had heard good things but was disappointed. Lamb kebabs were dry lamb meatballs in rice. Moussaka was fried eggplant in red sauce with chickpeas. The "pita" (at a separate $2.00) was neither warm nor fluffy but a dried out wrap. I'd give an extra 1/2 star for delivery. Was faster than estimated time. Other than that, won't be ordering again.

I'm obsessed with Moustache. I order a lot of delivery, and also dine in often. Friends I've brought have loved it as well. Favorites are the falafel, the moustache pitza, and the lamb ribs. Also the lentil soup and feta salad. I really don't think you can go wrong with anything. The delivery is always super quick (as fast as 15 min), but I also live 3 blocks away.

The food was okay, but they didn't deliver bread. Appetizers like babaganoush, hummus, etc are designed to be eaten with pita/bread. I called and the guy said I have to specifically order bread (and it costs extra). He sent the delivery guy back with some bread who gave me a little lecture on how I need to order the bread next time. Sorry, there won't be a next time. How can you be a mediterranean restaurant and not deliver bread?!? That would be like a chinese restaurant not delivering rice (Oh I'm sorry, you wanted rice with your chicken and broccoli, that's extra.) It's a shame because the food was not bad and I probably would have ordered from here again.

Very disappointing (especially considering the reviews I read before ordering from here). Although the delivery of the food was very prompt, the food itself was tasteless and bland! I ordered the chicken kebab plate with hummus - it literally tasted like nothing. For the price, I expected it to be a little better - wouldn't recommend it to anyone and I probably won't be ordering from here again.

Delicious, delicious food - especially the ouzi which is perfection. Not the quickest delivery though - never less than 45mins to arrive and I live about 5 blocks away.

Chicken kabob sandwich is so juicy and delicious. Delivery times are regularly much faster than the stated 45-60 mins.

Moustache is delicious. The food (specially the pita, and the pitzas) taste better in the restaurant (can get a bit flat or soggy in delivery process), but alot of the appetisers like th hummus, and the various salads travel pretty well. Delivery is generally on time.
