Nations Diner/Café

Do not order from here! I accidentally mistyped my address - called ten minutes later to fix it, and the man who works at Nations Diner cussed at me and told me that it was too bad and that I was not getting my food. I had to walk four blocks to meet the delivery man, and my food was cold and not good for the price. I wish I could have just cancelled it. Overall a horrible experience.

Unbeknownst to me, Nations refers their take orders to Plaza Diner after midnight. Let me tell you that the Plaza Diner serves an inferior product!

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with my meal and response from the restaurant on Thanksgiving! Order was missing an item, my burger was missing the cheese and was raw with a sopping wet bun and the waffle fries were undercooked and wet! Upon calling the restaurant, I was told that it was a very busy day for them (thanksgiving) and they were the only restaurant open (not true) and there was nothing they could do about it. I asked for a refund and was told the boss was not in and they hung up on me! I will NEVER order from Nations again. I understand mistakes happen, but being rude and not trying to remedy the problem is UNACCEPTABLE.

I live nearby (3 blocks) and review should be considered in that light. I equate Nations to the local corner store deli in Manhattan: Acceptable, below average food at a good price. I would never order a legitimate meal from Nations, but it is great as a fast (local) late night place (love the grilled cheese), or a fast early-morning place in a pinch (the coffee is lousy but the breakfasts are okay), Overall: fast if local but decisively below average food quality.

Terrible. Took over an hour to deliver and the $15 delux bagel w lox platter was a damp cold bagel w cream cheese on the side. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T ORDER FROM HERE!!!

An hour to deliver. A rude response when I called 45 minutes after my order to check on the delivery. The portions were small and quality mediocre at best. Never ordering from here again.

I ordered nachos. I mind as well have just picked up tostitos from the nearest market and toss a tiny bit of chili on top. The plate was virtually bare, almost nothing on the chips which didn't even taste fresh. Very disappointed.

Ordered with Seamless showing a 20-30 min delivery time. After the fact, they changed it to 60-75 min. This was late at night and I had fallen asleep because they didn't deliver until an hour and a half later. Tried calling them to deliver again or obtain a refund and the manager said "You lose," and hung up on me. Many other sh!++y diners you could order from with better service.

Mediocre food with terrible service. I stopped ordering from here after a horribly botched two hour delivery. The management is nonexistent. I called for days trying to get a refund and was told the manager was not in and to call the next day. I eventually gave up and quit ordering from this place.

Everything about this place was horrible. The order took 1.5 hours to arrive (significantly longer than the 30-45 that was indicated). Secondly, everything was soggy. What does it take to find a decent diner in Murray Hill?

Ok for diner food. Delivery is quick and convenient. I prefer Morning Star Cafe on 2nd ave but there not on Seamless Web (yet)..

Completely unprofessional. Waited over an hour for the food and was told our order was not even started. We were then told that we had to wait another half hour. We indicated we wanted to cancel our order and suddenly were told our food was ready. When we complained, they said we had to call back the manager the next morning and that our food was ready. Extremely poor service. Update: Called back repeatedly to ask for refund as card had still been charged. Repeatedly told manager would come back "tomorrow". Tomorrow apparently never came. Zero professionalism. Had to call credit card company to resolve dispute. Thank god American Express has great customer service.
