Natsumi

I love Natsumi!! The delivery is prompt and the food is fresh and delicious. I wrote side of white rice with my order and they called me to make sure I knew it would be $1 extra - many places wouldve charged without telling me. Great service!

Tip - if your deliveries are going to take longer than an hour (and it is listed as 20-40 min on Seamless) - try calling and letting the customers know you're running late like other decent places do. Otherwise, they will be like me where we will tell people your delivery stinks and recommend other people to try alternative sushi places in midtown. (Guess what, you're not the only sushi restaurant in this hood). By the way, the sushi was okay, but not "wait over an hour and take attitude from someone on the phone" good.

The best sushi delivery place near my home on 42nd street. I tried almost all of them but this guys really impressed me. I eat only sushi. Nothing else. And their sushi are always super fresh and tasty like in real quality Japaneses restaurants.

Mediocre sushi, and the deliveryman called at least five minutes before he actually arrived with the food so I had to wait for him in the lobby. Not ordering from there again.

Disgusting. I just threw my entire order out after picking through of what I could that was edible. Pickled jalapenos in the yellowtail-jalapeno roll? And that was the best part of the meal. Wish I could get my money back for that one.

The fish portions are teensy, and a little weird to have the skin on sashimi, but overall, the flavors were amazing, the fish was very fresh. Took a bit longer than expected to arrive, but for sushi take out, I thought it was great! Would definitely order again! Try the tartare martini!

not sure how this place got a 4-star average. going through the reviews, it seems like the lower-star reviews were accurate whereas the higher-star reviews may be fake. some of the similarities we found with the bad reviews: the jalepeno in our yellowtail jalepeno roll seemed like it came out of a jar (i.e. pickled and sour), there were scales in our spicy tuna roll, the sushi pieces were small and somewhat discolored (not fresh at all), there was no wasabi and ginger, the order arrived late, etc. we would not order from here again, and i suggest a review of the reviews.

Terrific. Ordered a couple of Rolls Maki Combinations. The fish tasted fresh and of good quality. Even the vegetable rolls were above average.

Eel and avocado roll was good. Crispy Spicy Tuna Roll left A LOT to be desired-- to say the least. My rice was dry and our delivery man even complained about not receiving enough tip!

The food here is not worth 80 minute wait. I called over half an hour ago to see where my food was and had been assured it "just left"....then they hung up on me. Just called again...it's "on the way"....and the a$$ hung up on me again. Will never order from here again.

Every time I ask them to provide spicy mayo, they never put it in. When I asked the delivery guy TWICE if it was in there, he said yes. It wasn't, of course. When I try to call them to say they do this every time, they pretend they don't know what I'm saying so I hang up. There are plenty of sushi places in this area, don't order from here. I won't ever again.

I think you should be able to rate the food AND the service. Well, both are easily 4 if not 4.5. The Sushi is always quality and there's been no difference between eat in or take out for the numerous times we've tried them. The fish never has that day old 'fishy' smell. The Edemame is great as are the assorted other apps we've tried. They also forgot items once or twice early on, but they had someone really bust their hump to redeliver the missing items lightning fast along with $5 off certificates for our next orders. No complaints at all!

Avoid this restaurant because of the delivery men. If you're ordering from an office building, they'll call you en route and make you wait for them in your building lobby. Isn't the whole idea of ordering food from the office convenience?
