I have ordered from here before. I would have given them more stars but they changed their menu. Suddenly there is no chicken, no lamb. My favorite dish is gone! (Basically the only reason i ever ordered from here). Now i have to find a new indian spot for chicken tikka masala

1.5 hours later and no food, so I call and the guy that answers the phone just couldn't be bothered. Seems like the Sunset Diner managers went to New Green Leaf. Too bad, I was looking forward to it. Hopefully they can get their act (read attitude) together to get some grub to the hungry. I hope I can update this in the future with some good words.

After waiting an our, the store called me to say that they were not going to deliver my order with no explanation. I reached out to seamless and they gave them the run around. No matter where you live, do not order from them. You will never know if they will deliver or not.

Took over an hour to get my food and when I did it was awful. Probably the worst delivery I've ever gotten. Incredible waste of money and time. Enough to motivate myself to take classes in advanced engineering and physics just to learn how to build a time machine so that I could go back and warn myself to not order from this place.

terrible customer service. I called here about 10 minutes after my order had been placed and was told that the food had already been made (unlikely) and that the order couldn't be cancelled. I asked to speak to a manager, and the woman on the phone started shouting and getting angry. First she said that the manager was out and then she said that she was the manager, why do you need to speak to the manager, etc. etc. etc. The food was passable, but they gave us a quarter-cup of rice for two entrees, which arrived laced with a thick black hair. Don't order from this restaurant.

It did take a good hour to arrive, but once it got here it was as good a curry as I've been able to find in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area. Vindaloo exhibited the necessary heat, but lacked the acidity of the real mccoy. Decent rice, solid bhindi. The addition of a drop of lemon juice and salt and not a bad effort at all.

Why don't I trust the bad reviews. I always think- 'hey, it must have just been that one time'. But it's not. These people are idiots. I waited an hour then called. They said 10 minutes. I called back - they said they'd call me back about the order. I just want a refund so I can order from someone who will bring me the f-ing food. Now they are ignoring my phone call back. Is this for real!?!?

Do no order from this restaurant. I generally never write reviews, but after waiting forever for my delivery, he person I spoke to on the phone said he never received my order and refused to send my food. Terrible service.

Once again I ordered and it was faster than delivery estimate. That isn't a bad thing. I ran to store because the least amount of ETA was 440. Guy was there with hot tasty food in at 426. Hell yea that is poppin! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars because I only tasted delivery indian food from 3 places before. I am no Connoisseur but it tastes like nothing round here. GOOD WORK

Can't even explain how bad the food is. I ordered the mulligatawny and basically had to throw it out. Had very little flavor and the flavor it did have was disgusting. It's not that hard to make great Indian food, but clearly their cutting corners to save money. Unacceptable.

amazing!!!! the chana saag was really flavorful, sweet, fresh and not greasy. the chicken vindaloo was HOT...as it should be, and again really flavorful and tender. also the rice was really fresh. and to top it off, i'm writing this review literally 1hr after ordering which means the food came in exactly 30-45mins as predicted, which is a refreshing experience. we'll be ordering again!

Everything was delicious, but really greasy. Also they included extra things that I didn't order that were also delicious. HOWEVER I made notes in multiple places in all caps not to include butter (I don't eat dairy) and I'm pretty much positive they put it in anyway, and didn't say anything, which I found upsetting. Also, although I had included specific delivery instructions, the delivery guy couldn't find our house, and when I tried to direct him via phone he didn't understand me. I ended up having to go downstairs and walk 2 blocks away to go pick up my food after 10 very frustrating minutes of phone conversation that went entirely uncomprehended.

Ordered a soup with okra and an eggplant/potato entree. The soup was really gross and tasted burned and old with barely any veggies. The entree had no salt in it apparently and subsequently no flavor I had to add a ton of salt and sriracha to make it taste like anything at all. Super dissappointing. Greenpoint is a great place for indian food but this place is really blowing it.
