Living in Washington Heights seriously limits the amount of delivery options we have. Among the many terrible chinese restaurants and sub-par Thai choices, Nikko has been great every time! My roommate and I order from here about once a week. Pad Thai is delicious, Pad See Ew is great (not the best, but happily not greasy like others!), all sushi has been more than acceptable for delivery prices, hot & sour soup was yummy, miso was average, panang curry is really tasty, and gyoza are great as well. Our go to is Shrimp Pad Thai and Beef Pad See Ew to share - there's plenty for more than two meals!

The delivery came within the noted timeframe of 30-45 minutes, and the food was fine. Not remarkable, but fine. I, however, wouldn't order from here again because the deliveryperson was incredibly rude -- refused to say who he was in the intercom (I asked twice if he was from Nikko before he finally yelled, "Yes!"), told me that I wasn't writing my signature fast enough as he tapped his foot and placed my food on the ground, then left my small building (3 apartments) and refused to close the front door to the street. I literally had to run after him to ask that he close the door. I've called Nikko to get my tip back. This was my first and last order.

The food is actually pretty good, but they definitely have terrible logistics as far as delivering goes. Forget about 30-45 minutes. The first time I ordered from them I had to wait for about 2 hours. Against my better judgement I ordered from Nikko another time. 90 minutes later I got a call from the restaurant saying that the delivery guy was outside my building. I live on the street level so I went outside to pick up the food which only took me 30 seconds. When I opened the door the delivery guy was leaving. I called the restaurant and they said that they would reach him and call me back. They called me back saying that the delivery guy was circling the block and that he would be right back. It took him 40 minutes to come back. When I finally got my order I asked him what happened. He then told me that the first time he had made it to my place he actually had someone else's order not mine. Needless to say I won't be ordering from Nikko anymore.

Let's count the reasons why you should never order from Nikko. 1. I was quoted at 30-45 minutes and the food took 70 minutes to get here. I didn't realize it took so long to make sushi 2. When the food arrived, I was informed that the delivery guy had been here before, couldn't figure out how to open the door, and left without so much as calling a single time. 3. When I opened the bag, instead of the two rolls of sushi and Gyoza that I ordered, I found a bento box and a miso soup 4. The bento box and soup were cold and soggy. 5. When I called to complain, they said I could keep the error and they are sending out a fresh version of my order. Now, at 108 minutes after I sent out my order, the correct food arrives, but I am told that I must give back the bento box, contrary to what I was told on the phone. 6. When I called back to explain, I was yelled at by the manager, who wouldn't budge, nor offer me a refund, even though I clearly stated that is what I wanted. All of this was somehow my fault. 7. The shrimp tempura roll that did arrive was soggy and cold. 8. I have been in bed all night with food poisoning from this mess. There you go. Eight reasons why you should avoid Nikko like the plague. I worked in a restaurant that used Seamless and when there is a mistake, this is not how you solve it. Obviously Nikko does not understand the first rule of customer service is that they need to seek return business. Now, they have lost my business in the future, as well as the business of anybody I can rant to, including my five roommates.

Harlem and Morningside Heights have a plethora of Asian restaurants from the sublime to the....well you know what I mean, but Nikko is a rare find. It's Pan Asian cuisine is not only pleasing to different palates, but the food is really good. They use fresh vegetables in all of the dishes (containing vegetables, that is) and much better than the other restaurants in the area - Zucchini, Asparagus, Shitaki Mushrooms are some of the standard fare. And they are really fast! I always order through Seamless for my lunch break and it's usually ready in 10 minutes. They are my go-to for any Asian meal

After I placed my order, an employee from Nikko called to say they had just run out of toro and offered to either give me a credit to my next purchase or order another item. I ordered another item that was slightly more expensive than the toro, but Nikko didn't charge me the difference, which is good customer service, in my opinion. My sushi came in a timely manner and was very good-- the spicy mayo was especially tasty. I will certainly order from them again.

I tried Nikko for the first time today and spent twice the amount of money I usually spend on lunch specials ($23) only to get three small pieces of shrimp and four bite size pieces of steak. Although the few small bites were tasty, I am still hungry and quite disappointed.

This may be the most underrated sushi joint in the city. I typically eat sushi 2-4x per week and once I moved uptown from Midtown I was determined to find a "go-to" place...Nikko was the 5th or 6th place I tried and I've ordered 3 consecutive times since. I typically get the 18-piece sashimi platter and for $5.50 the standard (tuna+avo/salmon+avo/etc) are a great deal.

Horrible. I usually order from here since its the only decent one in neighborhood. I order two curry dishes tonight and they forgot the rice. I called, they told me it would be another 25 min to get the rice or they could credit me just for the rice they forgot.

Harlem roll is amazing, they put the eel sauce on the side so it doesn't get soggy.. Perfect execution!

Food was okay - you can't expect too much out of cheap chinese food in Harlem/Washington Heights. I wasn't wowed but I knew what I was getting. However, what will discourage me from ordering her again is the service. The delivery man - and who I'm assuming is an owner - yelled at me for "ordering too early", then before I could hand him the tip (which I was giving in cash) he yelled at me for not leaving a tip. Okay food and rude service, this place isn't worth it.

I have been waiting for my food for over an hour. When I called to check the status of my order, the girl over the phone had know idea what I was talking about.
