Nirvana (Lex)

Nirvana is reliably excellent. It is the best of the Indian restaurants in Midtown that I have tried for lunch delivery, and possibly the only one that includes raita and bread in its lunch special.

Nirvana is consistently delicious and reliable, either in restaurant or via delivery. I have had several dishes on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The portions are decent, the naan is always well-textured, and the flavors are nuanced. My one complaint is that sometimes the vegetable dishes could use a bit more heat, but I love spicy, so that could just be me. It's also definitely pricier than the other places in the area, but absolutely worth the few extra bucks if you're in the mood for good Indian food. All in all, a solid spot.

I agree with all the 1 star reviews. Food was bland and poor. Delivery was so slow that by the time it arrived it was all cold. Never ordering again and I would recommend you never order here either

Decent samosas, quick delivery... but otherwise disappointing. The basmati rice was bad, actually seemed more like American medium grain. Curry was selected "Spicy", but quite mild.

This place use to be good. It is not anymore. It seems that they must have changed chefs, or management. Quality has gone down. Last time we ordered the food was old. They cut down on the portions and the food seemed old. Too many cloves in there food.

This was the worst Indian food I have EVER HAD, and I'm not a picky eater. My "lamb curry" seemed more like goat and was all bones, no meat, and also NO TASTE in a fatty, greasy sauce without any flavor or spice to it whatsoever. I wrote spicy, not mild by the way, not that it would have made a difference with food this badly prepared. Even the rice was stale! This meal was inedible and I threw most of it away, but even from the little bit I did eat I had a horrible MSG headache afterward (I'm allergic to MSG). I have no idea how this place ever got any good ratings. Additionally, my entire order had hot sauce spilled over everything in the bag, and there were NO napkins in the bag. WORST MEAL EVER. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!

I ordered O`Calcutta Shrimp dish last weekend .I have never tasted a horrible dish in my life like that .The shrimp was frozen , not cooked.The chef had thrown in tooooooooo much of spices .Total degrade to Indain food .

Food is consistently good and service is very responsive. I order here regularly and just tonight there was a mistake in the order - they rushed over the correct order (within about 5 mins) and even added a complimentary dessert. I was a regular before but now am truly loyal!! Try them and you won't regret it.

WOW!! That was delicious. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Loved the chicken tikka masala and the somosas. The naan was terrific as well. Highly recommended if you like indian food.
