Tribeca and BPC are a wasteland in terms of Chinese food but this was quite good. The spare ribs came very well done as requested, they threw in these yummy egg rolls gratis, and the dishes were plentiful and tasty. Will definitely order again.

REVISED - 5/24/12 I placed my order at 12:20 pm. It is now 1:10 pm and my food has not arrived. I called the restaurant and was told (RUDELY) that my food was on the way. I called 15 minutes later and was told by the same person, the same thing. It has never taken this long for my food in the past. I don't know if I want to order from them again. Their customer service sucks! ---------------------------------- Food arrived about 1/2 hour after ordering it. I ordered the Sesame Chicken combo with vegetable rice. It suprisingly came with a mini eggroll. I requested that the chicken be extra crispy. It was. The price was a bit steep for Chinese food but I was craving it and there aren't many to choose from in this area.

I've never bothered to rate anything on Seamless before, but this is consistently tasty and fresh (Americanized) Chinese food, which is way more difficult to find in Manhattan than it should be. Crunchy egg rolls, crisp vegetables, fresh and lean chicken. I'm ordering it for lunch as we speak. (Also, I don't understand what magic they use to get the food to me in about 15 minutes, but I'll take it.)

Something has changed at #1. No longer enoy the quality of their food. Today was a large order and all of us noticed something not quite up to par. It's a shame, because we always liked them. We've been ordering for years. Maybe it was a bad day.

we ordered from here last night for the first time. The food arrived in about 15 minutes, give or take and it was piping hot. The mongolian chicken is more than delicious! They did it right. I didn't like the wontons in the wonton soup, though. They sat at the bottom of the bowl like 2 rocks wrapped in dough. So I passed. The fried dumplings are delicious and whenever we want chinese food again, this is our new spot.

Food was good. I've ordered here before. This time, I was NOT happy with the order arriving 45 minutes late after a 1-hour advance order. This was my first time using the advance order option for this restaurant and the first time my food was late.
