Noodles 28 (3rd Ave)

Walked by this place often, saw that it had good reviews, and being named "Noodle 28" assumed they can do noodles well, even if "pan asian". The Vietnamese bun (cold vermicelli noodle salad) was a abysmal. It smelled wrong upon opening -- not that it had gone bad but just wrong. Where was the mint? The lemongrass? The fat, cabbage filled egg roll was seriously one of the most disgusting things I've ever put into my mouth (and then promptly spat out). (FYI, if you are advertising "egg rolls" with a Vietnamese dish, you should learn to make Vietnamese egg rolls.) On the plus side, they delivered in 20 minutes. But that's simply not enough to overcome the memory of that dish.

I know Chinese food. This is the best in the neighborhood. Literally have never had a bad meal from Noodles 28 and I've been ordering from here for 8+ years. The staff is lovey and the food is fresh. Delivery is crazy fast.

The noodle soup I ordered was bland and flavorless. The texture of the pork was a little funky too. I probably won't order from here again.

It's almost as if the delivery guy has a wok on the handlebars of his bike because I barely hang up the phone and the door is ringing. I've been ordering from Noodles 28 for, oh, I don't know, probably 13 or 14 years. The food is consistently good and the delivery has always, ALWAYS been fast. Highlights are the cold sesame noodles, General Tso's (white meat only for me), and Moo Shu (any stripe/variety). LOVE NOODLES 28!

This restaurant has consistently provided Comfort noodles whether stir fried or in soup whenever I have a hangover, a cold or a during a rainy day watching movies at home. I have been ordering from them for 2 yrs and they have never let me down with on time deliver or consistency of my order. I recommend the noodle soup with your choice of protein.

The noodles were the blandest most disgusting think I have ever eaten. Who would have thought a noodle house could have such horrible noodles. There wasn't even enough broth! The pork buns were obviously purchased from a commercial distributor and then microwaved. Nothing seemed to have even prepared fresh.

Really hits the spot when you're craving Chinese/Noodles. Order the peanut sauce on the side - excellent. Very quick, hot delivery

Some of the bext Pad Thai in Murry Hill. While they say the wait time could be up to 40 minutes I have never had to wait longer than 20. The noodles are always fresh, and the sauce ratio is perfect.

Noodles 28 feels unique, even if they are probably not. I suppose it is their menu's unique mix of Chinese and Thai dishes. Whether we order delivery or go to the restaurant, they never disappoint.

Standard Chinese-American fare. Five stars for the Bun with grilled pork chop. It is kind of hidden in the menu, but really well done. The Vietnamese hot and spicy soup is a sure-fire cure for a cold. In general, I find the Vietnamese dishes to be far superior to the Chinese at Noodles 28.

Incredibly fast- got my delivery in 20 minutes. Udon noodle lo mein with vegetables was delicious, but the vegetable dumplings were not the greatest. Next time I'm sticking with just the lo mein.
