Nuevo Mexico

I had dinner in the restaurant last week and thought it was a great meal, but ordered lunch today and found the meal to be absolutely disgusting. I ordered the chicken burrito and guac and chips. For $15 this was the most disappointing meal ever and I'm not a food snob. The burrito had zero flavor, was mostly soggy rice and a couple chunks of chicken. It was a chore to eat. I found a random green bean in the burrito. The guac came in a tiny container and was clearly watered down. I wanted Nuevo Mexico to be a new Mexican food go-to after a promising meal on a Saturday night, but this lunch has made me think otherwise.

Ordered tacos, delivery was fast, fresh and flavorful. Mexican sometimes doesn't translate to delivery so well, but this was a welcome surprise. Yum! Will definitely order again.

The enchilada sauce was OK, but the chicken inside the enchilada was full of bones and cartilage. The chicken fajitas were not to be repeated... the meat was bland and wasn't cooked very well. There are way better places to order from.

Ordered at lunch. Just tacos and tamales. Guacamole situation got screwed up, even though I really tried to very clearly specify that we wanted two of the tacos with guac, and two without. Ended up with one of four tacos having guacamole. Beef birria taco had good flavor otherwise - well spiced. Generous meat on tacos. I think they forgot the onions though. Cheese tamales were disappointing. They seemed as though they were reheated several times. Underseasoned masa (shy with salt at a Mexican restaurant? for real?), hard at the ends, and a tiny piece of congealed cheese in the center. I work in restaurants and usually give the benefit of the doubt - I was considering two stars. Maybe other dishes are better, or dinner service is better.

Mouthwatering fish tacos. Guacamole is a bit weak, but the rest of the menu is solid and delicious. Can't beat the per-taco prices.

best take out mexican I've had ever. Great menu, great food, nice delivery person. ---- I originally left 5 stars after my first try of this place. Unfortunately the last two deliveries the food has been totally mediocre if not worse. I have to demote to two.

The flautas are pretty good but everything else is sub-par and delivery is always messy. I've ordered from here 3x and each time something has been spilled within the bag or wrapped messily. I will have to find another place for flautas because I will not be ordering from here again!

It was fast but the food is bad! Just tasted terrible, bland too much cilantro. I wish I could get my $ back because did pulsing even eat 1/4 of it.

I love the tacos from here, especially chorizo. and the chips and pico de gallo. it's a fun place to eat too because they have a mariachi band on the wknd, and it's pretty cheap. not a fan of their margaritas.
