Odessa

We love Odessa. It's a real old East Village institution that provides great value and home cooking. Prices are cheap, delivery is fast. We love the challah bread, chicken gismonda and cordon blue, mashed potatoes are real, pierogis are home made, it's really awesome.

Not bad.. Delivery took an hour and a half and because the food was cold 3 stars. I suspect my rating would be higher (4 or 5 stars) if it was warm. I don't blame them for the late delivery as its raining out and I'm sure they have a ton of orders. I'd give them at least one more chance.

Great food! One time there was a mistake on my order and the head chef went above and beyond to resolve the issue. I met the owner and the head chef and they were very friendly and accommodating.

I waited two hours for my food and after several phone calls, the food still hadn't arrived. I finally cancelled it. If you are hungry and actually want to eat something, don't order from this place.

Delivered over an hour late. Food was ridiculously cold. When I called to ask about it, they would just give me an attitude. Rude staff and horrible experience overall. Don't order from here.

My god the corned beef has was super salty and greasy. I could not even eat it. The blitzes were delicious though.
