Otarian (8th Ave)

Ok, I NEVER write a review but must for this restaurant. I had the best French fries I have ever had. My sandwich any my boyfriend's burger were truly delicious and satisfying, which is surprising because my boyfriend loves meat and mocks vegetarians. He actually boasted, uncoerced, that it was the best burger he has ever had. Needless to say, we will be ordering from Otarian very frequently.

Awesome. Plain and simple. Their food is well-imagined, and most items on the menu can be prepared vegan. Bravo! Try the Tex-Mex burger. Delish.

Made an order and received a call that they don't have a gluten free breads for they gluten free sandwiches and no pannacotta berry either... why would they claim to be gluten free then?

It took the food to get here more than 90min!! The diet coce that I ordered turned out to be regular cola. it was placed on the burger so the burger got here not only cold but wet. The burger itself was swimming in their mayo, not a pretty sight.

Excellent food, delivered right on time. As with one of the other reviews, I did receive a call about a sold out item I ordered. They were quite apologetic and I did select a replacement item. They adjusted my bill to the lower price item. I understand that late in the day they will run out of certain items.

UPDATE: I like their food so much I just had to give it another go. My last three orders have come very quickly and in good condition. I'll be upgrading my star rating for every few orders that are delivered promptly. The food is delicious, but unfortunately the service is terrible. Of all the orders I've placed here, the majority of the time they have run out of one or more of the items and I get a substitute (they call before substituting, which is good). The main problem is the delivery: it can easily take one hour or more to receive your food. Forget the Seamless estimate of 15-30 minutes -- I've never once received my food in that timeframe. I often don't even order cooked food -- just sandwiches or deserts, which are pre-made.

Beware!! They are out of many food items that are listed on Seamless' menu. After placing your order, they will call and try to substitute a lower cost item and are quite unsympathetic about it. This has happened multiple times. You've been warned.

Delicious food and adorable packaging. They didn't have the pannacotta when I ordered it, but it doesn't matter cause everything is delicious! This is a new favorite for me!

Late for my scheduled delivery time by an hour. I even called three hours in advance to place the order. When I was calling the store to ask why they were late, they kept saying they'd be there any minute. This went on for an hour.
